its no gears of war, but for an rpg I think this looks pretty good in motion. It doesnt look as nice as enchant arm, but it looks pretty good. When is the release date?

well I should have my rpg fix for this year with enchant arm. I really cant wait for some of these jap rpgs, mainly the 3 mistwalker ones. I never got into phantasy star, I seen a few people playing it and wondered what it was about. Is it like wow where you get upgrades and stuff?

I never played WoW so can't compare.

You do level up and Upgrade in the PS games. If you like JRPG's and online action all rolled into one?

It's not really a MMO it's more a co-op RPG that you play with a small group of people over the net.

I think it's a lot more fun and less restrictive than an MMO.

I've played some of the best MMORPGS out there. Wow was crappy and Guild wars was addictive for a period of 8 months. I dont know how i will like this one. For one i know i wont like to pay for the monthly fee. Maybe a free trial may convince me.
PS: i hope it is instantiated like Guild Wars, that way there will be no monthly fee.

I never played wow but ive seen people playing it and know what its about. Monthly fees have stopped me from trying any MMORPGs as a student I cant afford it lol. Well I could but it would mean less beer. And giving up beer is not an option. If this is a reasonable monthly fee I may consider it because im on work placement next year so Il have spare money.

Spare money = more beer.

I'm playing WOW, and I should try GuildWars, I don't think I will have time to play PS :P

They should release a trial version over XBL or something.

That's what will keep me from getting this game. I can't pay the monthly fee along with the regular xbox live combined.. too much money for ONE game to play

It pans out, if this is anything like PSO, you'll pretty much only want to play this game when you've got time to game anyway.

Man, can't wait for this game. I played the xbox\dc\pc versions forever. True it is a time consumer, but when you have that freetime you will be warped in.

i realy love what i c here. i spended alot of life time for pso on the dreamcast.
the music and the hole style look great.

I hope to god the PS2 version is what's being shown in these vids, because all of the colors especially in the last video look REALLY washed out and dull. It really makes the game look a lot worse.

Never played PSO but I'm definitely interested in picking this game up. Looks like a lot of fun. :)

But, do we need to pay monthly fee for the single player like Phantasy Star Online Episode I & II on Xbox 1? That would be stupid, right?

I'm 99.9% sure that single player is free but if you want to adventure online than be prepared to pay for it. :(

The third video was very good. It shows some nice fighting and vehicles even. Waiting for this game is drving me crazy...

GW is no where near as good as WoW. Granted, it is free so im not complaining

They have quite a bit of work to do to sell me on this game, but I loved PSO so I'll keep an eye on it.

yeah i'm definately going to buy this game to support not only the developer but for SEGA also i've heard a rumor that Shenmue 3 was not being produced because SEGA has a lack of money sry if i went off topic but I REALLY WANT TO SEE A SHENMUE 3!!!
