30 Tony Hawk 8 images

30 Tony Hawk 8 images

Activision released this batch of 30 Tony Hawk Project 8 images. Finally this game should be something really new in what had become a rather boring series of games.

Looking pretty good, first TH game I've been interested in playing in awhile.

Tony Hawk never became boring, it's just that the Underground series and AW they were trying something new. Sadly it wasn't a good move. Though THPS1 through 4 were great games. If they bring the that type of fun back then P8 will be rather good.

Yeah this is the first TH title in a looong while thats got me excited.. lets hope it'll be worth it :)

I must say the new trick system looks like it could be a giggle.

Hmmm... finally interested in Tony Hawk series after the not so fun Underground and THAW. Realistic physics, and animations, I'm closer to getting sold on this. The screenshots are not that good, so many jaggies, but obviously looks phenomenal in motion judging from the trailers.

I had seen many of those before. I think it'll be good.

the amount of jaggies is just unacceptable...hopefully they'll fix this before release, or hopefully it'll look better in motion or something (slight motion blur perhaps?)

About the game

What's up?
  • Melmoth
Melmoth @Tinks: they started screwing over some of their long time 2nd party partners like Argonaut and (to a degree) Rare. (2 Hours ago)
  • Tinks
Tinks during the 64 era Nintendo at least had Rare in their prime, but it was the start of real painful gaps in content. (7 Hours ago)
  • Tinks
Tinks if you skipped the 64, Gamecube and Wii you may not feel their software issues the same as others. From what they've shown so far they've done little to correct their previous console issues. (7 Hours ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX I don't think Nintendo can or will fit the mold he expects them to though. They never have, really. (8 Hours ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX Jim always presents a solid argument. I think Nintendo has more wiggle room with this thing than people think if the market responds poorly to it. A portable SKU for example. (8 Hours ago)
  • Moonwalker
Moonwalker @droezelke: The complaints he has in that video are mostly valid I'd say, sadly. (8 Hours ago)
