Trailer of NHL 07

Trailer of NHL 07

EA Sports released this very impressive trailer of NHL 07, looking really, really great. That is some heavy AA, I tell you. I first thought it was CG and all, but the newly released X360 images really look like that. I had no idea it could look so good - the shadows and everything - in motion. With no Playstation 3 version announced, I take it's from the X360 version.

Yeah, I guess it looks too good. On the other hand, I don't think the previous games have had any FMV videos, but I could be wrong (last game I bought was NHL 04). It could be a CG"using in-game-textures"-sort of thing.

On the other hand, I remember how Madden blew us away (not talking about the first CG videos). This is the same thing - NHL last year was nowhere near next-gen. This is, hopefully.

Well if its CG then it's cheap CG. If it's in-game (which I think is very possible), then it's about time they pushed up the graphics a notch for NHL!

probably is CG because they dont say "in-game gfx" anywhere before the video or anything. Im sick of trying to figure out if things are CG or in-game. CG shit should be banned from games altogether. Lately, its all developers use to show their games.

tbh i think all us know the 360 can pull off IN GAME gfx like this sooner or later so why not now? lol

nice stick bend... good physics! Did I actually see the puck wobble too? I hope [sigh] that is true in game. If so, this will be the first year I don't buy NHL for the pc....

Didn't Luongo just get traded? hehehe change that trailer!

eh that is definitely in game. it doesn't look nearly good enough to be CG.

these trailers do nothing for me though. it's like all of the EA commercials. they all show these stupid angles that we will never see in the game except the first time we play when replays look cool, before we start skipping them every time they show them.

show me some in game gameplay footage to get me to actually care about it. and that doesn't just go for this game, that is in general. im sick of these trailers that don't give us any idea of how the gameplay graphics will be presented to us.
