Looking Good, not quite up there with BiA3 though...

i'm also rather underwhelmed by them as well. they look a lot like COD2. it looks like a lot of textures and models are being reused, and there aren't really that many improvements being made.

i think the last picture is horrible. it looks like an xbox game. :(

COD2 was so good too, and now it looks like they're rushing to get another out the door.

looking pretty equal graphics wise but not much of a jump from cod2. anybody know which platform this is actually built for and then ported from.

the screen res is 1280x720 which i think most multi-platform games will be doing. not many dev's are going to spend the extra time jumpin up to 1080

Are they both not a PC port?

Anyway, I really liked COD2 and this seems to continue the trend.
Both look good (maybe PS3 a little smother IMO).

I love playing CD2, this game looks good and i was watching a ingame trailer over at IGN and it looks way better than these screenshots. Can,t wait to play the final game of CD3.

Wow, like where did the guys shadows go in this pic :| Some of the texturing is pretty bad, and a lot of low poly hard corners. I wish IW was making this to be honest as the gameplay is a concern based on the previous console releases.

i believe treyarch are handling the console versions whilst infinity ward works on a pc version. after checking on ign though, there is no cod3 listed for pc and when searching for infinity ward, its has next gen console projects and a call of duty sequel.

i did read a while ago that infinity ward was handing over the cod3 reigns to treyarch so that they could concentrate on a modern combat cod - much like ea did with the battlefield games.

looks like shit for "next gen". i thought "next gen" was supposed to look reaslistic, but i guess not.
the game is probally going to be exactly like the other 26 million call of duty games. its like they just keep releasing the same game, and changing the name, sometimes putting numbers in it. the game is in the same places, at the same time and you do the same exact thing through every game.

Looks a tiny bit nicer than COD2. This game is console exclusive though, there's currently no third installment planned for PC. This game is also being developed by Treyarch, the same team behind the last COD console game "Big Red One." That was pretty good. This should be good too.

Really does look like COD2 with slightly better smoke effects. Hopefully an early build yet.

I wish Infinity Ward (Makers of the Call Of Duty 2 for the 360) were making this one as well... Hopefully Treyarch can polish this title up alot more before it comes out
