Valve announces Team Fortress 2

Valve announces Team Fortress 2

Valve just announced that PS3 and 360 ports of Half-Life 2 are to be released next-year, in a big pack containing the game as well as the two "Episodes", Portal (a solo game featuring experimental gameplay) and... Team Fortress 2. Yep, THE Team Fortress 2. With its shaders-filled cartoony look, the game seems pretty far from what it used to be when it was still using the Quake Engine... And I must say I'm totally seduced. Are you ?

I love the new graphical style, nice that they're doing something different with the source engine.

digi_matrix @GriftGFX: thank god it CoD doesn't play like BF, because CoD is shit. The only good thing about it is controls, which are better in Halo anyways. Trolling ftw! (0 minute ago)

GriftGFX If anything, they lifted elements from Counter Strike and ironically Halo.. nevermind the fact that BF clunky, broken, and buggy.. and that's coming from someone whose played 1000 hours of both. (2 minutes ago)

FireWire Assassin's Creed 2 is amazing... (3 minutes ago)

GriftGFX @Doom_Bringer: It plays *nothing* like BF2.. not even the progression elements. Fail. (4 minutes ago)

Doom_Bringer @GriftGFX: Felt like a BF2 ripoff...even the multiplayer (all the UAV, artillery strike ideas ripped from BF2) everything is lifted from BF2 IMO (4 minutes ago)

A_M Yeah variety is definitely they key to spice up the roster, but I never liked Cody in the alpha games, but I'll try him out when the games released. (5 minutes ago)
