the bad news is it looks like the xbox up-port it is, the worse news (for it) is that saints row is going to own the open world genre this fall (despite what flaws it has) and this will drop to the wayside.

It looks os much more than just a port.

This looks like it could be really fun to play, nevermind the graphics.. looks fine to me.

looks like they nailed down the ''randomly drive off cliffs and parachute onto motorcycles'' market.

All of a sudden we are going to start seeing some major competiton between games like this, saints row, Gow, etc. And thats before the 3/wii hit. Awesome.

Very good looking game. Not too sure it's my thing though. Quality/Quantity can never be perfect in a game this enormous. Still, hopfully they proove me wrong.

I love the contrast in this game. Too many games don't feature dark enough shadows, and in a game like this where the entire color pallet is extremely bright the ultra-dark shadows really accentuate the colors quite a bit. I hope they release a demo or something.

exacly my thoughts. Just Cause got tight competition. Saint's row is out next month and looks promising. Then there is crackdown and so on. That parachute and messing whit grapping hook could be fun for some time though.
Rel. date of this is allso mystery. By that quite crappy editing on that video was propably because tho hide that there is like 2-3 vechicles/characters on screen at the same time. :)

Hmm... Saints Row is about the size of Grand Theft Auto Vice City. Just Cause is 1024 sq kilometers and includes varied terrain and motorbikes. At this point I prefer Just Cause.

Saint's Row is all city though, Just Cause is a lot of open areas. I think the games are the right size for the types of gameplay they offer.

saints row has multiplayer and full player customisation ...

is there a hd version of the just cause trailer ??

It looks good but I wish they would sit down with an interviewer and actually answer questions about the game. A little more firm date rather than "coming soon" would be nice as well.

Looks fun....I was messing about last night on GTA: SA and accidentally realised I spend a LOT of time (this is all post-mission completion btw) on bikes and planes and stuff....So i think thats why I could miss the most from Saint's Row, and what I might find excellent about this game...

Sometimes there is nothing better than dossing around for 30 minutes on a super fast bike, or a passanger airliner :D

I also like the sense of speed from some of the vehicles....which I haven't seen in many clips from Saints Row.....I wanna go super fast dodging traffic and pedestrians closely you know....

Saying that i'm sure i'll pick up both games anyway
