Army of Two more beautiful than ever

Army of Two more beautiful than ever

Check out these new screens of the amazing EA new franchise!
These pics are awesome, and inform us yet a little more on the gameplay side, look at the 7th one and you're see one soldier doing a heart-massage to his partner, and no doubt that this is part of the game and not a prerendered cinematic (look at the HUD). The first picture is also very reassuring about the shader of the water surface (the early previews showed it a little cheap visually, not talking about the incredible dynamics out there).
We want more!

Looking very interesting indeed, online co-op play could be superb.

You actually DO STUFF, so it's third person. :P

Co-op for the absolute win.

Although I don't quite like the concept of basically crippling the players in order for "co-op stuff" to happen. The best co-op games, in my opinion, are ones on equal terms but heightened difficulty or enemy frequency. The Outfit for instance is suberb in co-op, whereas having to send eachother to places with elevators in PDZ is less-perb. That said, PDZ still goes strong in co-op as evident by my gamercard. :)

lookign very nice indeed, goo to see a game built around coop, lets hop when you play single player the other computer controlled person is up to it, obviously not a problem when playing over xbox live though

This game is obviously 3rd person... did you SEE any first person shots? They want you looking at those models every second you're playing the game!!!

Good-goodley-moogely this game is looking incredible! Too incredible if you ask me... I'm guessing these are publicity shots or PC mock ups.

Yeah a in-game trailer would be nice .. But let's look at these picture at first, these pictures are giving us a lot of hints on how the gameplay is going to be.
A trailer is fast and you might see glimpse of something here they are not moving and we can really admire it for as long as we want.

" This game is obviously 3rd person... did you SEE any first person shots? They want you looking at those models every second you're playing the game!!!"

Well we didnt see a single 1st person shot of Halo 2 until well after the Live demo at E3 and that was only a couple months before release.

The textures look blurry and quite downgraded from what we initially saw from those first screens. Who WOULD doubt this is in game.

HEHE the resusitation is supposed to be wicked... the 1 partner thats down has to escape the white light (top left corner) and the other has to keep pressing a button combination in rhythm to get the guys heart beating...

The textures are the way the pcitures were taken trust me the textures are high quality .. there was a closed door presentation of this ingame... and lets just say the game looks great and the water is probably the best ocean ever done in a game :)

Wow, nice lightning! Even if it is average FPS, with good coop this will rock(system link, splitscreen, live coop). Would have not expected this from EA.

those are in-game screenshots ? or just CGI
Commented on 2006-08-16 23:52:56
are you kidding me? there is no way that is CGI, if it was it is pure ass for CGI, and as is doesn't look that great for gameplay either.
