Check out these new screens of the amazing EA new franchise!
These pics are awesome, and inform us yet a little more on the gameplay side, look at the 7th one and you're see one soldier doing a heart-massage to his partner, and no doubt that this is part of the game and not a prerendered cinematic (look at the HUD). The first picture is also very reassuring about the shader of the water surface (the early previews showed it a little cheap visually, not talking about the incredible dynamics out there).
We want more!

..and here it is: The co-op is...wait for it....split screen even online!!!! Those last few pics are from the online co-op mode. Retarded to say the least.

Actually I'm pretty sure the ENTIRE game is split screen like that, co-op or not, so even when you are playing by yourself it will be split screen. If I remember correctly from an EGM a few months ago that is due to needing to know what your teamate is doing at all times since the game is built around needing both players to accomplish goals.

I really dont think that you can do a combination if you were to describe this game.
GoW is GoW RAinbow is Rainbow and Army of Two is Army of Two.... By just saying that this is just a cmobination of two or threee titles is like saying that this is a ripp-off from something that might have been great or poor in a couple years.
I like to think that this title is a independent title which grasps all of it's imagination from people that want this kind of game..

I would like to know how this game would play out online?

I take it..you can only have 2 gamers at once? and they watch each other's back..giving 360 degrees of coverage..the guy in front, takes care of the bad guys in front..the guy behind you..the ones behind..

you use strategies and give each other a helping hand in climbing walls too high maybe?

well, just wondering how the online play would be? would it just be 2 gamers? or just like any other fps shooter online?

I think you completely missed the point. He meant that with Army of Two, Gears of War and Rainbow Six Vegas all looking great, he will no longer have any time for a real life because he will be playing those games all the time.

I think I heard somewhere that its really aimed at the widescreen generation.

They figure that considering the width of widescreens it won't be too much hardship to have splitscreen and all the benefits that come with it.

Still, I'd like an option to turn it off.
