Say what you like about the series but they sell well because they are fun games. There is a real compulsion to complete the game. It's not a serious racing sim and they don't change much between versions. They do always seem to change for the better and always add something that makes you want to play to completion.

I'll be buying this one because it's a franchise I know won't disappoint me. I have much greater reservations about Forza which literally bored me out of playing the first game lacking any motivation to see the game through to the end.

Name one racing game with gameplay like Carbon. Good luck.
Oh let me think. All the previous Need for Speeds, that would be the answer.

Look what bugs anout EA is how lazy they are and because of that I will be boycotting every single game from them that shows this Lazy couldnt be arsed Syndrom! and just so you know I'll be the first one to get SPORE becaue that game is the only thing innovative EA will be doing in a very very long time.

No one can,t expect much from nfs because every year they release a new version, and ive played all nfs games, and ill be playing this 1 because i enjoy playing nfs racers, and i enjoy playing nfsmw than pgr3, and nfsc the thing i don,t like is the night i hope they got day time as well, who nows how this game will turn out no 1 can tell only the developers of the game.

I love the game concept, too bad the physics are going to be skilless arcade garbage.

Drifting by just turning in the corner without weight shifting etc.

IT JUST STINKS

Wow. Now you showed how much you know about the game. How about informing yourself instead of blindly bashing. Carbon plays nothing like previous NFS. It's a whole new formula.

TXR series and Kaido Battle series
Wow. So there's already games based on territorries where you create your own racing team with customizable cars and stats where you must race in group and not alone. With fixers to take the cops off your back or where winning territories unlock new car dealers or tuning shops. Where there are 21 bosses battle.

Great thinking there.

I see low poly car models, I see a multiplatform next gen title by EA.
Yup, that's the problem with most EA games.. EA wants to cash in as much as possible by covering all platforms as much as possible.. This always results in compromises, never really taking full advantage of the lastest (next-gen) platforms.. What EA does with this game on the 360 is take the Xbox and/or PS2 version, up the textures a bit, add a few lighting and other new effects here & there, and viola, there's your "next-gen" version.. And to make things worse, sometimes even with content cut that's in the Xbox and/or PS2 version, but still charge 10 bucks extra for it..

That's why Battlefield 2 (PC) is the only EA game I bought in rescent years..

Clearly you dont want to be convinced otherwise which you are entitled too of course like I said : buy whatever you want! but to me the game is just like all the previous need for speeds without even a respectable graphical leap between each version. Take NFS Underground, NFS underground 2 and NFS Most Wanted and compare the graphics and the gameplay too, you'll understand what I mean!

There is something funny too: you keep defending the NFS series saying how original the gameplay is and yet you havent touched your need for speed Most Wanted copy again since Dember 28th 2005 (thanks to the info provided by your gamertag). What does that tell you ? A game that is as good as you're implying should keep you coming back to it at least after 8 months of last playing it.

u really have no idea wut ur talking about do you. Genaki done it already with their racing title's, EA just adding to it. Same can be said about Saints Row doing the same with GTA SA. They just took the concept and added some new features to it. But its pointless, ur a brainwashed EA fan. So its really like talking to a misguided sony fanboy. You think everything they do is revolutionary when in fact they are not.

Also like alimokrane said all EA NFS titles like this get boring real fast. You play it for a month, then nvr touch it ever again. You know why? Cuz they blow balls. It just takes ur brainwashed mind longer to put 1 and 2 together

Learn to spell before calling people brainless.

Anyway, welcome to the ignore list. alimokrane at least can talk correctly.

And you didn't even play Most Wanted. Who the dumbest? Those who bash a game they never played or the guy who played it who defends it against the ones who didn't.

Use your brain for once. You're just like the tools who bash Halo without playing it.

lol I love when ppl bring spelling into an Internet argument. Also to help you out I did play Most Wanted, rented it to be exact, and it was junk. After 2 cop chases it gets boring, but w/e have fun with ur game. lol and just to let u know, I played halo with roommates every day at our dorm, its on my top 10 list. So now that I pretty much debunked all ur false statements of me, have a nice day

Yeah it is only at night.

This is EAs marketing-strategy . NFSC2, I bet, will have a revoloutionary option of choosing between day and night. EA will sell it as sth. completely new!!!

Excuse my english, I am mad and madagascarian!!

You know, the problem with it being at night is that you can't see a lot of the detail (or lack, thereof) in the environment. Shame.

This game got a cople more months left to go before release, people think this is the final version of the game, just like dead rising at first it looks dull with nothing in it and now its finsh at it looks sweet, but ill buy forza 2 before i buy nfsc.
Different developers for one thing. And EA puts out a new NFS every year (which is also really gay and makes the series get stale) so they don't have the time the guys at capcom did for dead rising. ANd actually Underground 1 actually looked better in early builds and then looked a lot worse when it finally shipped. =/
