MANNN THIS IS WHY I LOVE 2K....live is goin down this year AGAIN
the cloth animation in this game is at the head of its time...absolutely mindbending.

as for this game, i don't like basketball, so this has no interest to me, other than the amazing cloth physics, hard to get your head around the fact that we are at a stage in video games where the player models are actually wearing clothes.....

They are nuts, LOL!! :D
lol, I love how in shot #5 every player who is not directly involved with the ball is completely motionless. They're just standing around being bored to death, what's that all about!?
As for the video, the dunks and any other movements that have to do with the act of scoring are nicely done, but I'm hoping next year they fix the movements of the players while changing the player's direction, in that case, the animations seem incomplete, cut-off, or just not good.
I may buy this game, depending on reviews.

I agree with Lebato. Another thing I want to see changed is "contact". Sometimes it seems to be really smooth with small bumps and back downs, other times it is like they are running in place. Overall the gameplay looks great.
That's complaining just to complain. Go watch a gameplay viideo at gametrailers.com and that doesn't happen very often if at all.
school: remember that video was just a tech demo, and a highly stupid one at that, since they deliberatly made the ps2 one look worse than it really is, EA suck, not worth getting your hopes up till you see a finished product.

But seriously after watching this and the new IGN and Gamespot vids, im just in awe. Some of it I hope is CG, just can't believe some of the animations. Just like their RL counterparts. 2k nvr lets me down, well cept with 2k7 NHL. First time ima buy an EA NHL game since back in the 90s:(
Those GREEK Mofo's are Nucking Futs, loved that stuff.
