Fifa 07 is - well its exclusive for 2006 anyway.

At the end of Microsoft's show, they announced a 12 month exclusive deal with both EA and Konami to have Pro Evo 6 & FIFA 2007 (next gen versions) exclusive to Xbox360.

So no Nintendo Wii or PS3 versions for at least 12 months, they're all ours.

I suppose that EA and Konami might not have thought it was worth releasing these games on the as-yet-un-launched platforms. Smaller userbase, less time with hardware etc. and they are probably going to release versions next year anyway.

u mean exclusive for all of 2007 lol... so i guess the ps3/wii will get fifa 07 in 2008? LOL

It's a good win for the 360 especially in the areas that are very devoted to soccer.

Well FIFA 07 at least looks like a next-gen game unlike the underwhelming 360 version of Pro Evo Soocer 6. The player models are superb if a bit cartoony facially and they've got the grass just right this time. Shame about the awful looking crowds though...

The question is though does it play as well as it looks. I bloody well hope so!!!

Holy God does this look good! That's an INSANE improvement over the last 2 versions of FIFA!

Boring boring, why do EA even bother releasing these shots? They have squat to do with the game.

With character models that look that good, it makes me wonder why the developers refuse to make a kickass rpg that looks just as good. Those are arguably the best models ever to grace a videogame, if you consider how many players are on the field at one time.

FIFA and Pro Evo have about the same graphical difference they did this gen. We all know which one plays better though! ;)

yeah, still these shots look nice. wish they showed a real shot from the broadcast camera, too. fifa always did have an annoying outer glow to the players(excessive effects), although there's none of that here! dazza, the crowds will always be cardboard cutouts, at least for a good while. it's not like you can tell the difference or even see the crowd when playing, either. you add poly count elsewhere you'll have to take away from the players assuming everything is running about full efficiency.

That trailer certainly doesn't look like a 360 version should.

They always try and put it some lame lil gimick to make people by their game, its quite pathetic and the trailer did look like the Xbox version, seriously. This isnt mindless hating it did look that bad.

Looking nice! Trailer kinda looks different to the screenshots thou! I hope the trailer was just meant to show off the skills system and not the final graphics!

It is easy to see that trailer is for the XBOX! Microsoft claims they have a totally new engine for this game on the 360, CAN'T WAIT!

Sheesh, you'd think that after a YEAR you guys would have clued into the fact that ALL xbox 360 trailers are ALWAYS wide screen. Not only that, but official trailers (which this is) are generally 720p for 360 and 480p for xbox.
