Brothers in Arms HH trailer demo

Brothers in Arms HH trailer demo

Gearbox is finally releasing the demo videos of Brothers in Arms: Hell's Highway shown during E3, now being shown during the GC in Germany. Part 2 of the video is supposed to be released this friday, so the wait shouldn't be that long for the rest of them.

Lol, this is in Holland, and I saw this movie two days ago on IGN. This is better quality anyways.

The movie on IGN shows smooth playback though.

Yeah, the framerate suffers in this demo, dunno why.. Maybe the demo PC was crap, or maybe the game still needs major optimizations..

I also dislike little details like that glass falling on the ground but dissapearing right away.. I'm still waiting for the days that gameplatforms are powerfull enough so this kind of thing, just like dead bodies dissapearing etc, is not to be seen in games anymore..

That was the best slideshow evar!1!!

Seriously though, I've seen the e3 demo of the same footage before and I don't remember it being this choppy. I hope they fix the framerate by the time it comes out.

Lets just hope the frame rate is fixed, because that to me is unplayable.

Ignoring the awful framerate, the lighting is astonishing!

It reminds me of Band of Brothers, hopefully the framerate is due to it being work in progress and will be sorted as at nears completion.

Looks INSANE!! Hopefully the 360 can handle it!!!

Yeah framerate was fine from the earlier video I saw off Ign too
I am pumped about this game though, I need a much more exciting war shooter than COD

The 360 will handle that easily.

@ E3 they were running it on a 360.

e3 was on 360... this was on pc... just shows how much better the 360 is than a normal pc lol

I just hope it can handle it. I think there will be major downgrades because those textures looks more the 512MB worth. Also not that the 360 will be using all 512MB for textures alone. I think that not even a Top preformance comp can handle that without framrate issues, at the moment.

e3 was on 360... this was on pc
How you know that?

Wow, I'm quite surprised people actually notice the framedrops, these days people seem quite happy with 15 fps, but I guess 5 fps is just a bit over the top.

Anyway, so far this game looks very impressive, and very authentic...

I'm not too impressed.. especially the character art and animation is poor. The guy in the train looks like an amateur CGI fan movie from 96.

I hope this beats the doodies out of COD3, but isnt looking good based on this. By good I mean impressive enough to entice COD fans to try this one.

Oh and any saints row demo fan will tell you this trailer shows the best running game EVAH :P

What's up?
  • Doom_Bringer
Doom_Bringer oh yea that, Dragon Age was preloading at the time (5 Hours ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX Maybe.. it's different for pre-loaded stuff too. (5 Hours ago)
  • Doom_Bringer
Doom_Bringer @GriftGFX: well Dragon age extracted is suppose to be arround 20 gigs but the download was only 8 gigs or 15 gigs...procedure might be different for newer games (5 Hours ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX 45 minutes for this game would have to be like... 3+ megabytes per second. My Comcast can't do that. (6 Hours ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX My FFOW DL is almost 12.9 gigs and like 95% done. (6 Hours ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX Steam appears to download extracted and installed, there's no install process once you finish downloading a game. (6 Hours ago)
  • Doom_Bringer
Doom_Bringer D2D file right now is 9.2 GB's. I think it was less when I was downloading it (now its extracted) I am pretty sure Steam works the same way. 12 gb is probably the extracted size :P (6 Hours ago)
