This is gonna be the most awesome version of the NFS franchise, that is if you like the pimpin' part. And I do!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have to admit I am very, very amazed by the customization aspect of this game. Being able to modify the geometry itself is brilliant and quite a task development-wise. Hats off to the coding geniuses!

From a code point of view this isn't actually all that difficult. Think of it in terms of how a character would normall be animated in a game. All you are doing is translating/scaling/rotating sections.
But it's good. Don't think I'm complaining.

Whats with the 'hey we are xbox enough?' EA logo at the end?

I know how they did it Graham, but there are a lot of parameters and vertices to weigh at the same time, it's a bit complex. And for the modelers it must have been a pain too to tag the relevent points. We're used to seeing that stuff in 3D applications but seeing it applied in a game environment is brilliant :)

Looks kind of dumb if you ask me, reason being, if you look at all the game in the series, underground,2, most wanted.... its typically the exact same game... better yet all the same cars in the series as well with the addition of lets say 5 new cars that come out next year... same elements of modding ( spoilers, body kits, lights) although they added this scaling IMO its just a cheap way of pumping out the same game with "new features" with a different title, i will probably rent this no doubt to try it out but regardless i dont think its worth the money, better yet they should go for scraping those cars or adding new cars, then adding the most wanted concept in, with all the modding and do something more unqiue... How about Heavy Damage on cars? its been almost been 4 years since Underground one came out and all we recieve is some smashed windows, and some scratchs on the paint? lets see some TOCA Racer Damage on here

Just my 2 cents

You need to take another look, this looks ok not mindblowing, and ill get forza 2 before i get this - nice video by the way.

That's a very good idea BUT as long as it is on the right hands. I think that Subaru (?) ended up looking like crap after all that stuff.

I would like seeing something like this in Forza 2, it would add to the customization..........and in a game like Forza, it would actually make sense.

I dont understand why i have to take another look, ive watched the video and thats my oppion regardless i agree forza will kill the game in realism and graphics, i just think that they should bring something else to the table

What would be nice is if the shape/angle of the body components actually changed the aerodynamic properties of the car. Then it would make sense to spend a lot of time "pimping" your ride because it would handle better and be more efficient.

SimonM7 Nope, no such prestige I'm afraid. Just 1½ year of comic making and ICQ channel community on quakenet of all places. :) 2002 doesn't sound far back but it's soon 8 years ago. Time sure does roar past. (1 minute ago)

Megido Did you make comics and stuff for kong back in the day? The art looks similar :) (46 minutes ago)

SimonM7 Thanks :D and yeah I do. M7 was originally a webcomic, and the idea now is to make it a bit of an entertainment blog in general and a webcomic. Only done two strips so far since I rebooted it in may. (2 Hours ago)
