at the end, is that texture just a sea of one color? They could have tried a little more than that to add detail.

this game is sooooooooooo f****************cking boring. like gta with forces and a lotta other crap. the enviroment looks dead and the color of the buildings are too strange. orange skyscapers and so,doesnt fit.

This title just looks aweful...the colour s are terrible the textures are really poor.

Looks cool but there is absolutley zero interaction with the enviroment. Where is the dust, tyre tracks etc... Poor.

Sometimes I wonder if I'm watching the same video as everybody else. Sure, the beach scene was lacking, but I thought everything else was amazing. I'm not the only one downloading the hi-def video, right?

This game looks a liitle bit strange but maybe it will be very good so I wait with criticism
till I will see full game.

It's amazing the change in this games appearance even over the last month or so. Some shots are basically unrecognisable. Yet at the same time, pause it, and it still has an amazingly subtle cellshaded/comic look to it.

There is also another video on teamxbox showing the sled car.

they really need to release a demo before this drops, or else its gonna bomb, with the lack of effects (environmental) and interaction with the environment(tracks dirt etc) people are going to shun this game... even if the gameplay rocks it will get shun because of the lack of these...

A demo to demonstrate the gameplay would easily solve this.

I'm loving it, I think its great that devs are trying to do stuff graphically that doesn't have the word 'realistic' in it. I'm sick of games trying to look photorealistic and would much prefer an original unique experience like this. Good job with the vid guys!

This game looks great graphically. However that's abuot all it has going for it.

The gameplay looks bad, the physics are awful, and a lot of the interactions with the environment are even worse.

saints row baby!

This game has the engine but saints row has the game. Why couldnt the two meet in one single game is something Rockstar couldnt even hope for (to keep the competition at bay and help them sell more copies of GTA4).

Since Volition is a year or two away from a sequel and might even then be incapable of producing a quality engine, the word GTA-clone is more than deserved for a few years to come (instead of the politically correct "sandbox" nonsense).

And where is Reflections with the next Driver or Stuntman? NOWHERE!

And btw to the makers of this game.. when people drove in GTA3 they hit rocks and jumps expecting to do some major crashes, not lame perfection-flips like some ballerina. When you clone, CLONE.
