PC Xbox 360 PS3

Valve released these 2 high quality videos of Half Life 2 Episode 2, showing a bit more of this highly anticipated game.
Update: Valve already released this third video, much more interesting this time.
Update 2: As expected the 4th video is now available, with the 5th and last one to be released tomorrow I guess.
Update 3: Fifth video online.

I wish that after half life 2, they would have started half life 3 and not released anything up until 3. These Episodes are kindof lame i think. But the idea that you get HL2, EP1, EP2, team fotress, and the other thing, is pretty sweet.
if im not mistaken in an interview with one of the developers he said that these episodes are indeed the equivalent of a HL3, and the reason being they dont want to wait another 5 years to release HL3, instead they opted for episodes and improves on the graphic with each releases

99,99% of the times I would have agreed with you, except for HL2, this is the crème de la crème when it comes to 1st person shooters... ;)

I know it won't look this good on 360, but hopefully they can get it close.

What are you talking about? I had a two-year-old PC that could run everything on max just fine.

Depends on what you think is fine and max settings I guess.. The new episodes of HL2 look better then HL2 itself because of the use of new things like HDR etc, so you must have a really fast PC to run that at say 1280x1024 with 4xAA, 8xAF, and every detail setting maxed out..

Btw, those talking about Halo3, Half-Life has always been a better FPS game then Halo if you ask me.. Only part that's better about Halo is the multiplayer, but that is also only if you don't count the many HL-mods like Counter-Strike, Team Fortress, and Day of Defeat etc..
