A glimpse of a next-gen Starwars

A glimpse of a next-gen Starwars

Lucas arts showed behind closed doors during the last E3 a brief presentation of his next Starwars, now's the time to share it with you! Sorry though about the poor quality of the video...
The physics engine is the center piece of this presentation, and it remembers us of the "CellFactor" demo (AGEIA PhysiX tech demo) where the player can throw the objects everywhere in the scene...
Update: First three artworks.

It's a target render, it's designed to look like real time.

What's up?
  • Burglarize
Burglarize Just watched 'The Duel' myself. Pretty good. Although why they chose those horrific filters for the animation I'll never know. Also, the music was straight-up Naruto, even if it is traditional. (34 minutes ago)

SimonM7 @digi_matrix: It's way before the games. (3 Hours ago)
  • Megido
Megido Animation and art was terrible, the samurai and japanese stuff was awful too. Why not just let halo be halo? (3 Hours ago)
  • digi_matrix
digi_matrix wow, that Duel story was pretty awesome. I've always been interested in the Elites, but they being very Japanese-like was a bit jarring. This must be set AFTER Halo 3, right? So sad :( (4 Hours ago)

SimonM7 Yeah, you have had netflix for ages too. We got Zune Marketplace now though and can finally rent stuff on the 360. The points system on the 360 is retarded when you wanna rent a movie though. (10 Hours ago)
  • Phaethon360
Phaethon360 It's been in the US for a while. (11 Hours ago)

SimonM7 Destructoid was talking about a video rental service on the PS3. Has that launched in europe yet? If so, is it only accessible in select countries? (12 Hours ago)
