TGS06: Lost Odyssey Intro

Finally it's here ! Hironobu Sakaguchi was here to showcase Lost Odyssey, with the ten first minutes of the demo coming later this month. Here is the first part of this presentation (we wait for MS to greenlight the gameplay footage of both LO and BD), featuring a gorgeous CGI cinematic. I let you decide when the prerended stuff blend with ingame :)
Update: Sound synchronisation fixed.
Update : All videos from the press briefing have been removed.

Surely there is no gameplay there until perhaps the VERY VERY last second...

Transition between CGI and real-time is awesome - I think it's one of the moments that will define next-gen:)

I don't think there was Pre-rendered footage in there. It looked pretty neat, especially the shamans reviving your soldiers. I just hope it doesn't follow the dynasty warriors or N3 type gameplay.

It doesn't. It seems to be turn based in the demo but apparently the combat engine is not fully implemented in the demo.

Yup. last five seconds are ingame and as you can see you can barely tell the difference.

Best graphics on 360 - hands down.

Takes GoW easily, by number of models on screen. Animation was also smooth, frame rate was smooth - and resolutions were just as high.

Looks like MS hit the jackpot. This game looks Incredible, easily topping FF

I stumbled upon the rest of the vid, worse quality than the always excellent xboxyde coverage so I advise everyone to wait for that. But DAMN! did that look awesome, it totally blurrs the lines between gameplay and the other stuff wich you shouldnt really call pre-rendered anymore since it has become such a part of "living" the game... it's a complete, seamless experience and it just breathes this mix of FFVII, Spirits within and panzer dragoon saga.... Nr.1 most anticipated for me.
