New installment of the cult PS2 series is here at TGS, and here is the first clip we got from it. Unfortunelately, the guy playing is really having a hard time with his pad. But it should help you to wait untill the developers's presentation tomorrow, which should be a lot more interesting.

LOL I agree.

Anyway, the game seems to be shaping up really well... at least well enough to stop being an underdog japan-only franchise and go around the globe.

i rememer seeing a crazy japanise commercial for this on youtude it was impressive and you can actually destroy who buildings lol

you can destroy not only building but fences, even the trees, you can level EVERYTHING

Hey, nobody said anything about defending all the crap that's on the Earth. ;-)

By the way, looks like it has split-screen after all. Presumably for co-op.

I love the WHOLE IDEA of this game. Graphics may not be overwhelming but overall it looks great to me. I just hope they make buildings a little more resistant in the final build tho... I mean, I don't think just one bazooka hit is enough to shatter an entire 10-story building down...

PS: The guy playing sucks bigtime

Yup--it's a remake of a budget game so I'm sort of hoping for a budget price..but god knows this cost them more to produce.

It doesn't look horrible considering its herritage imo..it could be a good experience, despite its visual shortcomings.

i think it shows promise.. if the developer took a more realistic approach to the world setup i think this could own pretty hard. Right now it's stuck in between realism and total arcade with ugly pickups and some odd gameplay issues.

The graphics looks ok and the effects are nice too. Not great all in all, but could be so much better with a hdr lighting engine, and for crist sake give the characters some some shadows.

Ants are friendly, they probably just walk around the level and only attack you if you shoot them 1st... either that or they just go around chomping on everything

digi_matrix Paranormal Activity was insane, totally deserves being the most profiting indie film ever made. I saw the original version, not the theatrical one. WAY BETTER! (8 minutes ago)
