The demo plays like crap, so I wont be getting this.

Boy does it ever! I deleted this crap within 10 min. of downloading. Give me good old Sonic CD any day.

Is it just me or do some of those screenshots look crap, some of the textures are awful for a next gen game.

I dug the demo but i think you can die WAY too easily by falling off all the edges... that didnt happen so much in the dreamcast. They should fix that aspect and it would be ace.

this is soooo the perfect specimen of a 2D franchise gone horribly wrong.

yes. i would totally buy a 3d side-scrolling sonic. i will NOT be buying this. the demo is horrible. unresponsive controls too.

i loved every sonic game up to, and including, sonic adventure 1 on DC, but the new ones blow! this demo doesnt seem like its going to change anything either.

you lost it sonic team. :( leave 3d to mario.

The demo was pretty fun. As soon as I got the controls down it was a blast. I'll get it if its 40. Probably not worth more than that.

The only level in a 3D sonic game I can remember as being fun was the one where he's snowboarding down san francisco streets.

As I recall, there were no tiny areas to navigate with an awful awful camera, nor could I fall to my death.

Wow, I don't know what up all your asses, but I enjoyed every bit of the demo. It played just like Sonic Adventure 1 and 2. Not sure how the controls are "unresponsive" as I didn't have any bit of trouble controling sonic to any degree. My only minor gripe is the turning speed of the camera with the right stick could be increased. Other than that, you people need to learn how to play the game.

F*CK YES! Tails and Knuckles! Just get rid of every other character besides Sonic, Knuckles, and Tails and it'll be perfect

Who's Blaze the cat. Or did u mean Big the Cat, the most ANNOYING character in Sonic Adventure 1 where u had to fish for the same frickin' frog over & over again!

i almost bought a dreamcast after playing the demo just to remind me why i liked sonic so much

I have hundreds of Sega Genesis, Sega Master System, and NES games on a disc along with their emulators ( kind of like a virtual console, for those who don't know). They also have full game controller support. Don't get me wrong, I love the nostalgia, but I think 2D platforming is dead. Sonic belongs to the 3D world now. Playing a 2D game right now probably won't hold your interest very long.

I still play 2D Sonic games every once in a while.. and this new Sonic game will actually be awesome to me. It has branching paths! Hell, in this demo, I found about 4 different paths, and I know there's more.
