... the horrid v-sync tearing! Geez, can't the Xbox 360 do a 30 fps game with intricate next-gen graphics without them wobbling about when you move? You either get hi-def last gen graphics that don't tear (e.g. The Godfather) or hi-def next-gen ones that do (e.g. Saint's Row). It's not so bad if you're using a standard definition TV but it looks awful on an LCD HDTV.
Seeing that has made me decide to cancel the Xbox 360 version and order the game for the PC instead, where I've at least got the option to force v-sync. Good job I upgraded my PC recently to an Athlon64 X2 4200+, 2GB of memory and a 512MB GeForce 7900 GT graphics card then!
Looks absolutely fantastic as expected except for...

yeah tearing is a big issue. 360 is pretty weak apperently..

The pc i ordered coming this holiday to me.
ANd i will get the 360 version, but enough about bragging with hardware like that Dazza wanted, and still he failed to have anyone impressed.
I don't have tearing problem in Oblivion,Graw,Table Tennis and Test drive, but nvm, you're a sonyfanboy so you're actually that dumb that you think you must have tearing if you play aything above "godfather" standard.
Wow you're really dumb, have you seen Gears of war for ex?
Have you seen people playing it?
Talking about it?
Have they mention "Tearing"?
Just because Saints row lacks V-sync doesn't mean other games do or need.
@WarofPain - Saint's Row looks fantastic on my HDTV too apart from the tearing but then the developers are patching the game and adding a v-sync option for the cutscenes and actual game with a warning that it may impair performance so people can choose whether they want a faster framerate plus tearing or a slower framerate with no tearing. It's a shame that all Xbox 360 games don't have this option.
Tearing didn't particularly bother me on the Xbox or PS2 when I used a standard definition TV but it's so noticeable on HDTVs and, thus, far more annoying. It actually gives me headaches if it's really bad and that's why it bothers me so much.
Guess what? You're a fag.
Edit: Dazza you suffer from mental retardation. Your graphics card alone is more expensive than a 360. You are obviously losing out if you think that buying a new graphics card every year is the way to go, and BTW YOU FORGOT ABOUT DX10!!!
HAHAHAHA RETARD FORGOT ABOUT DX10! RETARD JUST BOUGHT A NEW GPU WHICH IS DX9 ONLY!! LOL. You pwnt yourself.
Framerate is key in video games, especially for a realistic feel. I can handle a little tearing.
Just to clarify with people, you all do know that 60 fps looks better than 30 fps correct? Okay, now if the screen tore at 60fps, would you put a 30fps frame lock on so that the screen wont tear? NO, THATS FUCKING STUPID. It never interferes with gameplay in the first place.

Cmon someone explain it to me.......... ;)
a normal game like halo runs a lot better than another game with no v sync on. so shut up already. tearing is a big issue for people with a set of functioning eyes. thanks to fools like yourself, we will continue to see UBI churning out game after game with tearing.
