The game looks good...in pictures, in motion it is a whole different story...I hope they can fix the annimation...make it run at 60fps and make his stand out white clothes a little more fluid...other then that...um...Jade Raymond is hot!

looks amazing...i reckon the animation is great in this game...but yeh of course it needs a lot of polishing, but it isn't going to be released for ages, and i'm sure it will run smoothly, i doubt 60fps, but smoothly.
great to see another environment too!...looks simply awesome!

I like the colours more in the last pic, but I suppose that's a stylized thing.

He's in a monk outfit, have you not seen the previous movies on the game?

Yeah lol. This game despite the title isn't about stealth in the traditional sense... it's about blending in, looking like the least likely person to commit a crime (i.e. dark gothic, ominous clothes isn't it lol).. they call it 'social stealth'.. and if you saw the demo video, he looks exactly like one of the monks walking around the town.

Indeed, this game -- to me -- is going to have one of the best "new" gameplay aspects. The animations look stunning, and luckily, Jade (it was Jade, wasn't it?.. the producer?) said in the demo movie that the framerate will get a nice fix :)

Don't get too caught up with frame numbers in this generation. It doesn't mean much when you have motion blur. If you see a clip that doesn't have a descent framerate just remember the game is still a work in progress but it already puts other titles to shame. Unsteady framerates are usually a result of a title that just got rushed to the market. I haven't seen a game yet on the 360 that has pushed the limitations of the hardware. It's still just way too early for that.

This game is by far the true definition of how gameplay should evolve. My most anticipated game of all time. Cant wait....

the whitest of white clothes?

buddy didnt you watch the footage from X06... the outfit he wears is pretty much nearly the same as the clothes the monks wear... in the game

stopw ith the 60fps crap... on tv's 60fps is bull crap 30fps is more than enough theirs no actual reason for a game like this to need to be 60fps... and from what i saw at x06 his clothes were flowing quite nicely... it had a bit of popin but they said to expect that because its still being tweaked

and how would they "fix the animaiton' the guy smoothly walks past crowds of people gracefully pressing and sliding past, ok their were a few hiccups with the horse animation but his animations seemed very fluid especially for a game atleast 5-6 months from release.... dont forget how much gears of wars cleaned up in these last 3 or so months... they took a kinda jumpy framerate to what now looks like a rock solid framerate

yeah, whitest of whites. he uses Daz.

*cheesey smile*

And frame rates - motion blur is all that is required to give the illusion of a higher frame rate. Movies run at 24fps, but due to the natural blur given by the camera, your eye sees them a lot smoother than they actually are. 30fps + motion blur should be sufficient.

Dead Rising, Lost Planet and Just cause are examples of 30fps + motion blur = nicely smooth. Of course its not the nervous, dv-cam like motion that 60fps offers but still smooth.

I wish he'd hit the edge of the ceiling there and ragdoll tumble, hit the side of the carriage ass first and split his head on the curb. Now THAT would be fun. ;D

Lost Planet is 60fps, believe it or not. Even I can't believe it with the level of detail Capcom put in. 0_o

It's 30 fps. At least it was last time I saw it in Tokyo.

  • digi_matrix
digi_matrix Paranormal Activity was insane, totally deserves being the most profiting indie film ever made. I saw the original version, not the theatrical one. WAY BETTER! (5 Hours ago)
  • SimonM7
SimonM7 Nope, no such prestige I'm afraid. Just 1½ year of comic making and ICQ channel community on quakenet of all places. :) 2002 doesn't sound far back but it's soon 8 years ago. Time sure does roar past. (12 Hours ago)
  • Megido
Megido Did you make comics and stuff for kong back in the day? The art looks similar :) (12 Hours ago)

  • SimonM7
SimonM7 Thanks :D and yeah I do. M7 was originally a webcomic, and the idea now is to make it a bit of an entertainment blog in general and a webcomic. Only done two strips so far since I rebooted it in may. (14 Hours ago)

alimokrane @SimonM7: Dude That's amazing. Do u draw that stuff ?? (14 Hours ago)
