I wonder if the turned on the physics yet on the Xbox 360 version. I like this game more over any other tennis game.
The 360 version is being converted by the same team who did Outrun 2 for the xbox. Granted they are talented, but they can't do as much as the original team. First of all the RSX is in GPU more the same to the Arcade then the Xenos (Unlike Outrun 2 wich basically was the same machine with more memmory as the Xbox). So not only are they the team that made the game they also have a huge difference in hardware to cross.
The PS3 version will look better, not because the hardware is superior but because the Hardware is closer to the Arcade hardware.
I bet they got the gpu configured as non-unified too. The 360 gpu is a new type of gpu and I notice many devs don't yet seem to be properly utilizing it or maybe they don't wish to learn how?
I guess its up to first parties like bungie (and I pray lionhead, rare and turn 10 too) to show these developers what they are missing out on by showing them how to really use the 360's gpu.
The ps3 version looks a lot less jaggy and its understandable when you think about it because the ps3 doesn't need to use a tiling method to achieve 4XAA. It just does it like gpus have been doing for years and it likely does AF the same too.
wtf is wrong with her wrist?

The issue here is they don't even seem to be using tiling in the 360 version at all.

why couldnt have sega got the same dev team to do both games ??
this just adds to the xb1.5 fire.
thank god for capcom....who seem to know what to do with the 360.
the 360 ver looks so bad it isnt even funny.
...Looks at gears of war, mass effect and chuckles

good news doesnt get hits....bad news does
gears is amazing...but it will always be "ps3 is sooooo much better than the 360 because virtua tennis looks better"
The crowd look awful in both versions of the game but to my eyes the PS3 version has a slightly sharper look and looks less jaggy than the 360 version (look at the nets...)
The PS3 screenshots are 1080p and the 360 ones are 720p, this accounts for the jaggyness.
yea i do too, but its always the "bad games" that get most coverage.

how can you say people will say "ps3 is sooooo much better than the 360 because virtua tennis looks better" plainly ignoring games that put any ps3 game to bed at 6pm with their milk
There is absolutely no reason whatsoever for this game not to be using antialiasing on the 360. The graphics are average enough as they are, it's hardly going to destroy the frame rate (when it should have practically no effect anyway).
The PS3 shots show 'selective' antialiasing. The players and the net have been blurred slightly, or maybe supersampled. It's hard to tell. But they are certainly *not* using proper MSAA. Consider that 1080P with antialiasing = 60+mb framebuffer.
The shadows look a lot better on the 360. Thats about all I can say.
I smell marketing forces at work here. *cough*true-hd*cough*
X360 will play on Live.
