Well, it look better than COD2. Also, I'm happy you can finally throw back grenades! Something I felt that hampered the realism of COD2.

Yeah, I am happy you can throw the nades back too. But the question is can you do it in multiplayer. You know how some companies tend to do all the good stuff to SP and don't put all the nice features in the MP.

looks a bit better and faster than COD2 , smoke goes away too fast makes it unrealistic , hmm if you can drive a jeep in SP maybe they will add them to MP too.

How fun this game can be with its Mp and Singelplayer.. There are much more interesting titles to be released.. this is a 20% off priced game if you ask me! but hey thats just me..

Now COD3 is better than COD2 in every way-especially, MP will exactly be a Battlefield 1942 of 360.
But, it is still not better than BIAHH in many ways...

Yeah, they gotta' stop usin' the COD1 (2?) engine, it's starting to look like a game from 2000, only with some blur and bloom :P. If they'd use a better engine/new engine it'd probably look better. (I'm pretty much bothered by the blurry textures)

its splitscreen multiplayer,as it has the 2 teams flags with 0 next to it for kills.

Sorry your a little outdated and don't have a sense of the time it takes to make a new engine from scratch. As a matter of fact, the developers of Call of Duty 1 and Call of Duty 2 are keeping quiet creating the next engine from scratch for Call of Duty 4. That is why they handed Call of Duty 3 to another developer.

i didnt actually mean a new engine,what i meant was,why keep making COD3,COD4,COD5,COD99, its getting alittle old skool now,i would like to see more next gen firsts. like what gears of war,assasins creed is doing for next gen

I liked what I saw......except for that smoke.

new games are great, but you dont just drop a winning franchise... if cod1 was a success and cod2 was a huge game on the 360... of course make a cod3 lol....

but yes their needs to be original games like gears and viva and assassins .... but their also needs to be continued development on older franchises like this for those of us that loved it.

Also remember this game was made by another team besides the one that did the cod2... the big tea is working on cod4 the future warfare one... now thats gonna be wicked.

btw game looks great... and i like the smoke... but my issue is wtf is up with cars in tese games when you get in it looks like an old 80's arcade lol witht he hand and the wheel it just looks funny hehe

I was one of the people that won the contest to be the first to play COD3. I just got back on friday from santa monica. So for the record you can't throw grenades back in MP. There is vehicles in MP. Like a tank which another buddie can get on and use the .50. There is even a motorcyle you can get in and have a buddy in the side car. There is no CO-OP. When you play MP you pick a class this time. Like if your a scout you have a sniper rifle and your special ability is to call in air strikes...which kicks ass. Each class has three levels that you can upgrade as the match goes on I.E as a scout level 1 you can drop 3 shells on the enemy, if your level 3 you can drop 15! Medics are pretty neat because you can heal people and get 2 points for helping your buddies.Medics carry shotguns. This game will also support up to 24 players with no lag. They said they had a great network engine. Also they took out search and destroy and added a kick ass mode called war, where you try to take over certain points on the map. If you have more Questions ill try to answer them!
