Hey it doesn't look half bad...
just ask yourself "When was the last time I played a good movie tie-in game?" I think what was shown in terms of gameplay look decent and they must have at least some hope for the game to delay it this long otherwise they'd shovel it on us when the movie was fresh in people's minds.

Cant rent here in japan either, makes gaming a very expensive hobby. This title looks almost as bad as superman 64, im not sure its even worth a rent.

Oh give me a break. Enough with the bagging on Superman Returns (both movie & game). From the previews I've read, the gameplay doesn't look too bad, and I love the fact that it's the health of the city that determines game-over. That's pretty clever. Graphically it's not too bad either considering you've got a HUGE city in which to play. Ah well, some people are never happy.

I may give it a rent ;)

super baby should of nvr been in the movie, I think that was the main reason what pissed alot of fans off, I for one aswell. I know they have the whole "son of superman" comic and what not, but they messed up putting that in the movie. Seeing how in the movies storyline supes and louis did the nasty when he was w/o superpowers, so how the hell does the baby get them?

Yup its like X3, they pretty much made it really really hard to make sequels now :(

Being a huge fan of both Spider-Man 2 and Incredible Hulk Ultimate Destruction, I'd be doing a great disservice to myself for not checking this game out.

Phaethon360, did you do all the extra side missions and what not in SM2? Man that was the one thing that pissed me off bout that game, you did all that extra stuff, and got not a single damn thing afterwards to show for it. Was no point in them puttin it in to begin with

Nope, sure didn't. I just enjoyed swinging around the city. Hopefully Spider Man 3 will give points for that.

Well, to tell you guys the truth, if you head over to IGN, they have an article about it, and they dont seem to think its all that bad. IGN is honest, and if a game sucks, they will defenitely exploit it.

They were hyping up the size of the city, which i guess is supposed to be 80 sq mi. 2x the size of san fransisco, and NY, and it has a total of 8,000 sky scrapers.

You can fly litterally at 800 mph this time, and you can fly extremely high up in the sky. At least 2 miles higher than the tallest building.

Like one dude said earlier. Worth a 5 dollar rental.

Oh, please, this game looks like fun. And you cant really expect excellent graphics when you keep the other features in mind. Spiderman 2 wasn't too great looking, but a lot of fun. And every preview that i read, said it was good and decent gameplay. Cant wait until i'm flying above Metropolis like that sequence when the voice starts singing.
There is only one thing i have a problem with and that's the voice acting, at least the voice acting of Bosworth. Doesnt sound good in the trailer.

I haven't seen the movie but I doubt it is as bad as you are all saying. It sounds like fans of something complaining because thier favorite thing got left out. In fact, that is what ruined X3. In X1 and X2 people were complaining alot about how many popular characters got left out. So in order to meet that demand they essentially turn X3 into a series of short clips featuring random obscure shots of the characters.
