I just hope they are not using the same animators that created the shambles that is NBA 07.

It wasn't the animators mistake, it's just that the game wasn't tested properly but it was still flung out on the shelves anyway.

These are the same shots they had out at E3!! >:O

I hate when publishers put out those press releases about 'new' when it's just stuff that they didn't release to the media from marketing stuff that's been out for MONTHS...

dirty pool..

I don't think it has much of a plastic look. These graphics are astounding. If you think this game looks like plastic, then Virtua Fighter5 may make you throw up.

and they're not emotionless, they're hard core!

Doesn't look like dynamic objects cast shadows onto other dynamic objects, although it has self shadowing... looks odd.

i still don't think this series should have ever switched to the more realistic character designs of this and the previous nba street. the over-the-top elements in the game lend itself to more creative art and character design....
...oh well, at least we can see the blood, sweat and tears roll down the player bodies in fantastic HD, and the older games do still exist for a-holes like me

Oh brilliant, Einstein. Way to really dig in and provide thoughtful feedback. Frankly the game's quite beautiful even though I agree that the charm of NBA Street 1 was in it's over the top cartoony style. But evolve or die I suppose.

It looks pretty good and the style is great, but it needs work. The shadowing system in particular.

  • Zomoniac
Zomoniac @dingleberry doesn't matter, if you score with both shots and defend successfully all game it's still a win. Shouldn't have been 6-2 to Liverpool as shots mean nothing if they don't go in. (2 Hours ago)
  • dingleberry
dingleberry Birmignham 2 shots on goal, 11 men behind the ball. Should have been about 6 - 2 to Liverpool. Rafa's going nowhere. (3 Hours ago)
  • Slabs
Slabs @blmbox: Keep Rafa At Pool. Love him talking bollocks. Also refs are having too much influence on results, we need video refs ASAP, the time "lost" would be less than player protests now! (4 Hours ago)
  • blmbox
blmbox I've got to say, it's funny to see Liverpool resorting to cheating in order to pick up a point against one of the league's lesser sides. Surely Rafa's days are numbered? (4 Hours ago)
