Capcom released this whole lot of images of Lost Planet, as always looking incredible. To be released at the end of the year in the US and Japan.
Update: It looks like there is no set release date for Lost Planet in the US besides a vague January 2007. If it's the case then I'm sorry about the confusion. I'll buy the japanese release anyway :D

Capcom is really gonna make more games for the xbox360.. because dead rising was best selling but when this one comes out its gone by 1 day.. everyone is waiting for lostplanet

I read an interview once and Capcom said that this game only used 50% of the hardware's limitations. I don't know how that could actually be measured or a guestimation, but it makes me wonder what games will look like in a year from now.

ARE YOU CRAZY? Haven't you seen those explosions and effects in motion on your own screen? Damn, someone needs to show this game to this guy in 1080p (yes, that's possible on the 360 in next fall's update)

Graphics are ok indeed, not amazing or anything.
Atmosphere is excellent, controls are pathetic.
If they don't fix those awfull controls, this is a no-go for me.

And yes, I played the friggin demo...

played this demo again last night with the sound up high. It was pretty awesome. The explosions are terrific. Can't wait for the multi-demo

Looks great, I'm so happy Japanese developers are starting to realize that not everyone on this planet wants to play androgynous characters with spiky hair and rehashed turned based gameplay.
Lost Planet is on my absolutely must buy in 2007 list.

The singleplayer screens arent new, Ive seen them on a few sites already. The multiplayer screens do look fresh though.

Game looks cool.

Yeah, I played through it a couple of times, and it has great potential, it has decent enough graphics and I have seen some cool stuff in various trailers, but the controls are just unacceptable, very awkward and not thought through well, at all!

If they fix those controls, and especially the aiming, I'll most likely get it...
