I like the casual tone. Nice music too. I think all the other game-related shows (both TV and Web) are pure crap, but this one has potential. Looking forward to the next one.
Ps: Sorry for commenting about it, but I find that very funny how many time you get bashed for smoking, no matter if it's on the french side of the site or english side it seems like people all over the world hate cigarettes. :)
Pretty good vid for first try. I don't think the PR think about Forza 2 is BS, since they did actually have drivers to test out Forza 1 and the drivers did actually have a pretty realistic time. Forza 2 will only be more realistic than Forza 1.
So which one is you and which one is Blim? :p By the way, it was interesting to watch. I agree with Forza 2 not looking incredibly impressive other than the damage modelling.
It felt very professional (besides the whole smoking part =/). The show was organized well, good transitions and nice introductions to some of the games. The whole idea of two people talking about games was great and works really well. The cell phone bit was also an interesting way to talk about the game. Some of the music you used for some of the clips didn't feel right and the music selection was a little ...disatisfactory to say the least (but thats just me). It would be great if you would use music from the actual game to play alongside the video. The SC review felt quite long when it didn't need to be but good input on all the games. You are not biased (or atleast seem it) and only comment on gameplay that you have played instead of absurdly saying "it will suck". Good job looking foward to the next.
I just had to make my first post because this was awesome, so ffffrrreeesshhh!
And the greatest part, I could even watch this at work with no soundcard (-> subtitles!) and Panda Gatedefender blocking every videolinks (-> streaming works!)...
Well very good work guys, keep up doing this show cuz this is from gamers to gamers. And for the smoking part i liked it, iam a smoker too and maybe for this reason but look at Itagaki interviews he always smoke :)
I thought showing splinter cell so much was overkill, but then I stopped for a minute and thought... if they were showing Blue Dragon for so long I'd die from the excitement :)
colin. did you honestly say that double agent doesnt look "that bad" and that graw looked better? WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT??? i beat double agent on hard and trust me, its the best looking game out. truuuust me. how can you say that!!!!!!! ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!
My bad. I'm not so good at translating, and not so good at all at translating things like that ;)
Well, the good point is you understood what I meant !
Overall I liked it. I won't comment on the unmentionable [smoking]. I also didn't like the whole phone conversation part of it. Next time have him there?
Also since you are subtitling it anyway (thank you!) can you put a warning on screen: spoilers ahead? I forgot that you mentioned that there were spoilers in the Splinter part of the video.
Mad Tracks is really coming along. I was happy to see a video, not having heard anything for a while. Looks great! Nice video and thanks for putting the music credits in at the end.
And about Forza, I pretty much agree with everything in the video about not having a cockpit view. Now, I love Forza! And I know a lot of people just use third person or "hood view", but I love seeing the cockpit/instruments. The feeling of immersion is much higher. Doesn't mean I'm not interested in Forza though.
Great Job guys keep up the great work as always if you ever come to the states we will have to hang out or something maybe Vegas minus the terroits (rainbow 6 joke for those who dont get it)
one TINY mini complaint: if possible, could you guys encode the next episodes without QPEL/GMC?
it doesnt affect the quality of the video, and makes it more compatible for standalone divx players, like the entire Phillips range and many LG players as well.
Love the casual feeling of it, and the objective, direct, honest and uncompromised commentaries - that's something most if not all major game sites have lost.
It felt like a true chat from gamers to gamers, not PR propaganda or advertisers-compromised company bullshit, like we're much used to see.
Keep up the awesome work! It rocks and makes this site truly unique. ;)

Like I said...... I'm not complaining, but it's something you might want to be aware of in case of American publicity.

I think it's just snoopers and pipomantis, blim is working out and getting ready for episode 2
"In the right coooornerrr ! Pease Welcoomme the Beaaaaaaast : PURPLE SNOOOOOOOOOOOP !
And in the left corner we welcome a brand new challenger : ORAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANGE PIPOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO !"

What a better way to spend the day at work! :)
I'm not complaining......... but the art you have in the background shows a nipple, which is definitely frowned upon in America.
