Man, this game just keeps getting weirder and weirder...

I love it!

I really like the setting and whole art-direction of this game.. And also technically it looks really good..

Anyone here know what engine it uses?

Started on UE2.5, then switched to UE3.

Now Game runs on UE3

Huh. I liked the look of it more before.

What's going on with the protagonist's hand in the first pic? Does he become mutated as well? The look of the game looks different. I can't say it's been enhanced graphically but I can see some small improvements. Everytime a new game in development gets quiet, it suddenly resurfaces and reminds me that the Xbox360 will keep blockbusters coming month after month. We'll never see a drought with the life on this console.

Yes, you as the player can genetically augment yourself, probably with some nasty side effects, that can be quite clearly seen in that shot.

The graphics do look good but why does it feel like he's fighting clowns at a circus? Isn't this suppose to be Bioshock not Return of the Killer Clowns? I was expecting gross mutations with some mild semblence of humanity but now I'm seeing silly wackos with paint and funny suits on. I'm sure there's more to the game but I don't really care for what I see now other than the showy graphics. Just keep it in line with System Shock 2 but with a cleaner interface, better graphics and you absolutely can't go wrong.

What? Just because we're gamers we can't appreciate art direction? How about music? Or the level design? Sound Effects? These have nothing to do with gameplay but as gamers, we do learn to appreciate it, and we've played through enough to know what we're talking about.

Bioshock is exceptional game in every way. Its gameplay, artical style, atmosphere, universe, you name it-Everything is new and rare. I won't buy it because I'm coward, but Bioshock will put other platforms-PS3 and Wii-into hell. Must-buy shooter for all the gamers who are not coward like me :)

I hope, besides the amazing like-Gearsofwar-quality graphics, won´t be just another FPS game. I mean that I hope it has something different talking about playability.

Many diverse enemy types, liking it more and more :) And the fact that you become mutated and see the changes is damn cool. The texturing reminds me of Far Cry on xbox, the graphics are not great but still acceptable. Although the environments kick ass and has some of the best water to date. Hopefully be a long RPG game like Deus Ex.

Just me then that thinks the textures look a little washed out.

It just looks like a higher quality grab. It also doesn't seem to have bloom on the enemies.

I'll be getting it, I'm a big fan of the Shock series of game :)

So is this rolling out for PS3 to or what? Last i heard was X06 and then it was exclusive in the presentation.

PC and 360. No PS3. PC/360 exclusive(I call this 'Microsoft Exclusive') titles like this and Splinter Cell will be influential to gaming market.
