Not quite a Doom clone--I don't recall having supernatural control over strange creatures in Doom :)

Sure it's a dark run and gun sort of FPS, but there seems to be a bit of a twist too.

i think it seems quite intresting, guns just look like there in there for something extra to do when bored of getting your demon midget gnomes to do everything, looks great :D

Yeah i think it looks good as well. Although i was kinda disapointed with the visuals. I was expecting something better.

i would've loved a third person perspective for the game.

oh well, looks great and the videos shown of the game, showed promise.liked how you could pick up cars and stuff.

I'm not doubting the game, waiting to see more videos of the game until further judgment.

i think you might be expecting to much from next gen if this lets you down.

I dono...like it looks good, but if you look at the screens you can clearly see lots of polygons around the edges of all the objects. Perhaps it's just the old thing that always plagues vid game screens. The game will never look as good in a still frame as it does in motion

I don't think so..The Darkness looks great, but it's nothing mindblowing. There will certainly be many titles that look better than The Darkness, visually. In my opinion there are already titles out there that look better, Gears of War comes to mind..and I don't doubt that the PS3's bigger exclusives will do this game in.

These screenshots are hard to read though, I haven't seen the game running in person or even in high quality video, so I won't be too harsh. It does look good, the screens just aren't very consistant. And my god, it may be the lighting, but his hands look fake..hardly textured.
