I think so, you can see a lot of them on the 136 Mo press demo video, and the game runs on a debug 360.
Let's hope for the best, and check real soon in the demo !

Yeah, I saw that vid aswell, but it's too unclear to tell.

Also, I did see some very nice footage in that dev diary vid that was clearly from the 360 version, but I've seen such contrasting footage of this game so far that I'm not quite sure what to think of it.

Either way, like you said...we'll get to check it out for ourselves when the demo arrives...unfortunately knowing Ubisoft's demo release history, that could take a while yet...

Agreed. That's VERY impressive from the technical side. The inclusion of shadows on transparent things and weather changing just stunned me the most.

Hopefully it'll run on an accpetable framerate.

Even though UBI said the greatest game ever made(Gears), sucked, after seeing this video, I will get this game anyway. This looks amazing. I'm glad they are doing more than just selling a 60 dollar map pack. This is what I wanted to see. Good job UBI.

p.s. down with the north amerikan union and CFR criminals! It's a shame this game is about something that's only half true. If boarder patrol tries shooting or aprehending an illegal alien trying to smuggle drugs across the boarder, that american will get imprisoned in return. They are ordered to let all illegals enter america (it's all a part of the north american union merger between canada, the US, and mexico that has been secretly taking place for over a decade, but is now mainstream media)

In conclusion, I cant't wait for this game. They should show us some of the MP mode next.

Well, tech demos and ingame do not need to correlate completely. It is not pc version that is for sure, but how this demo will show off in-game remains to be seen.

When did UBI say that? I remember EA saying how Gears was not innovative. But i never heard Ubisoft badmouth Gears.

It's just one guys opinion, I wouldn't hold it against the entire Ubisoft company.

It was just PR, but it sounded so preposterous. Anyway, after seing those videos, I feel like our p'tits gars de Montreuil have done a tremendous work with their engine (motor in franglais) and that in a different way, it might be on par with gears (hum, I'm being jingoistic/preposterous here).
A moderator posted an quotation from a french magazine, according to them, red storm MP looks way better than the 1st one (though not perfectly smooth when they saw it, probably not using the same engine), and will have 10 coop missions with a better scenario than that of graw 1's and something like 20 (?) maps. I can't wait for frag sessions to begin ;-)

Hmmm I recall him saying "gears was fun for maybe ten minutes". How dare he say that about the game I've been playing non-stop since its release? Three million+ gamers, and the number one XBL ranking, cannot be wrong here.
