3 Battle for Middle Earth 2 images

3 Battle for Middle Earth 2 images

Electronic Arts released these 3 images of The Lord of the Rings: Battle For Middle Earth 2. I'm still wondering how they will manage to get this to play nicely without a mouse.

Sounds like its the first RTS game that plays very nice on a console. Maybe thats the first real step... i hope there will be more RTS games for xbox 360!

doesnt look to bad tho i personally wouldnt buy it inless it has Xbox live support which im sure it does. The only problem will be the controls as mentioned and even tho Ign state they work well it still doesnt completely convince me just of yet.

This isn't a troll, but speculating that the gameplay will suffer in an RTS without a mouse, how is that different from speculating that an FPS will suffer without one.

Its too bad MS doesn't wise up and put those front USB ports to use.

RTS need the precision of a mouse, and contrary to an FPS (which can use a little auto aim), in an RTS you can to "click" little icons, in an FPS you have relatively large targets to concentrate on. But we'll see.

About the game

AndreasZ94 @GriftGFX: Im talking about games that sp is clearly not the main focus i guess. Evolving, mp based especially coop is where Ubisoft is going all in (25 minutes ago)

Moonwalker Hope they can show us something from BGE2 but i really doubt it. Hopefully their ''one more thing'' game this year will be more interesting than last year though, sjeesh. (26 minutes ago)

AndreasZ94 @GriftGFX: Its that they need to have more sp games to balance their lineup. The last games that was sp only was syndicate in 2015. I hope for a new ubiart game at e3 at least (31 minutes ago)

GriftGFX @AndreasZ94: Ghost Recon has a campaign. It's not an online/service shooter. I don't see what's wrong with them making MP games... I guess you don't like them? (37 minutes ago)
