I agree. Texture-wise, the game has a PS2 look about it. Almost like a PS2 game with no jaggies. The whole idea surrounding this game seems boring to me. Another overhyped, underperforming game I think this one will be.

I don't see any downgrading. This game is gonna be a veritable freakshow. Everything looks depraved. Just the developers mirroring the oppressive reality of our time, I guess.

Is that telekinesis in the 3rd picture? Cool.

I agree with those who say that the visuals are downgraded, but this is only to the reason that a picture itself can't actually processing the in-game lighting like the system itself would. And also mentioned that the game is not in motion, effects are lost during a freeze frame capture.

Screenshots always looked bad in this game, I see no downgrade.

Also, I don't know why they do this, but they've upped the brightness to hell in these shots, Gametrailers always does this with their vids as well.

What's up with that, it only makes it look 10x worse..!

Just keep the brightness down, like it should be...this is a horror type of game afterall...

You guys should watch the new vid on gamespot that just got posted today if you have concerns about how the game looks. The frame rate seems to be a lot better, and looks a bit better than the 15 minute gameplay demo. The vid is about 7 min. long.
