Clive Barker's Jericho is back with a pack of screenshots, and it looks excellent and disgusting in the same time, which is a very good new. And the best thing is, no need to wait for a trailer, you can now make your own animated gif with these screenshots. Brilliant.

Just because other industries/individuals do stuff that is equally sick, it should not be allowed to target sick videogames ??? OMG! On what planet do you live on?
What are you talking about? Where did I say that? I never said video games have a right to be immoral over other forms of media. That would be your imagination.

My point was this: If people like you who seem so desperate to make a point (often the first thing that can come to their minds), take some time to think out what you're saying. You're arguing that video games should not be so horribly violent and gory. What you refuse to see is the rest of human culture, which expands far beyond the grips of the gaming industry (unbeknownst to you, perhaps) and has thrived off violence as entertainment and as a method of solving problems for hundreds of thousands of years. So, to point a finger solely at the video game industry is ridiculous. I ask you, if you are capable of comprehending my words this time around, to take your argument outside the boundaries of video games and into the main concern, that being the naturally corrupt nature of the human psyche.

Regardless, I've said what I have to say here and won't bother discussing further. You have already proven that you are incapable of having an intelligent discussion by hearing only what you want to hear.

To everyone else, I'm sure my point has been dually noted.

Further, you're making the assumption that portrayals of violence (and sex for that matter) are morally wrong. Regardless of the fact that actual sex & violence are appropriate and needed in some circumstances (sex, pretty much any...), there's nothing intrinsically wrong with portraying even brutal violence. If said portrayal only serves to advocate such behavior (white supremacist lit. anyone?), the we've got a problem.

Be honest with yourself, these crazy violent games do desensitize us to a certain degree but I love playing them too much to worry about it :P

Looks nice. I like that you can see your own hands and body(?) in realistic manner. Perhaps no HUD at all? You should check out how much ammo you have left actually chking out the mag. If you gain damage, you would see wounds on your body. :D
Don't know how would that work gameplay wise.

"desensitize"? lol. what's wrong whit that? There is allways enough emos to take care of that I think there is not enough realistic violence on games. You should be able to chop your enemies to pieces if you choose to. Something like on soldier of fortune 2 but "next-gen" technology. Goddamn that would rule.

Call Of Cthulhu : The Dark Corners Of The Earth is FANTASTIC and noone(i think) played it. It's a real masterpiece of horror genre and much more serious and stylish then Res Evil 4, but who cared...
I played it and loved it. I never quite finished it, but what I did play really impressed me. Oddly enough, I started to lose interest when the game became more of a shooter than a first-person adventure game.
