I'm hoping that the graphics get an improvement when we start to see the 360 version. So far, LP blows the socks off of both this and Dead Rising. I'm hoping that with the experience from LP, this game will end up getting close to that level (we've only seen it on PS3 so far, where they don't have as much experience).
It's hard to believe its using the same engine actually.
Um hardly, this game looks much better than LP IMO.

I have to disagree here. I played lost planet and the graphical effects in the game are AMAZING. Devil may cry uses relatively smaller levels anyway so it would make sense if down the road it'll look more impressive than lost planet but right now I dont see it.
You only have to look at the texture detail and polygon count of the character models and compare them to see the difference.
Yes LP uses good effects (smoke, fire etc) but generally the texture's and polygon count is nowhere near as high as in DMC4.
Compare these two screens for example:

LP [ http://www.image-serveur.com/uploads/7a9dfa092d.jp... ]
I can hardly see a difference when it comes to character polygon count.
I've never played any of the DMC series. How do they compare to NIinja Gaiden?

The original DMC was almost as good as NG, gameplay-wise. The only area it surpassed NG in was atmosphere and style. Every other DMC game has sucked, as I'm sure this one will.
why is the text "Fuck Jeux-France" down at the buttom?
Low res textures, yes perhaps but low polygn count Im not so sure. Besides like I said, if you have a smaller level you can increase your polygon count so it all makes sense.

DMC if it is not in 1080p on either console it should be superior on the 360. But it is Capcom if they manage to actually use the cell as it hyped up to be then they should be about to produce more particle effects and ultimately have better animation but I have yet to see superior processing in a ps3 title.

LOL!!!!!!
Thats funny considering the 360 is better at doing 1080p than the PS3.
