As usual now, we had to wait for Friday for Namco to release the Famitsu images of Ace Combat VI. But since it's quite good looking, I don't think anyone will complain.

That actually looks pretty awesome (referring to the 720p images).

Of course they're press images, but man, if the final game can keep up that level of detail consistently, this might be a looker for the series.

Looks great...lookin' forward to playin' it. I can't see Namco making a 360 only title....I reckon it'll be a timed exclusive of some sort...

well the AC games overall looked awesome on the PS2, so it's not surprising.

Also, Online Multiplayer will rock hard :)

Yeah, either that or they will do something similar to RR6-RR7. Whatever they do, PS3 will definitely be getting an AC game.

Wow those 720p shots look amazing. For a Xbox only gamer last gen there seems to be a lot of interesting "new" series to try out on 360. :)

Looks amazing, the only thing is this game is way to arcade for me. I bought one of the PS2 version a year back or so, I played it for 5 min and that was it. If only they made it even something close to Over G I'd be all over it, but it won't be.

It is 360 exclusive for now. So is that something like pgr of airplanes? An arcade with sim twist.

no, it's a mix. Actually you said PGR with airplanes, yeah that sounds about right.

Seems the game still has meh ground textures looking at those screens, but w/e, everything else looks cool, and AC is fun as hell to play.

Doom_Bringer @GriftGFX: well Dragon age extracted is suppose to be arround 20 gigs but the download was only 8 gigs or 15 gigs...procedure might be different for newer games (4 Hours ago)
GriftGFX 45 minutes for this game would have to be like... 3+ megabytes per second. My Comcast can't do that. (4 Hours ago)
GriftGFX My FFOW DL is almost 12.9 gigs and like 95% done. (4 Hours ago)
GriftGFX Steam appears to download extracted and installed, there's no install process once you finish downloading a game. (4 Hours ago)
Doom_Bringer D2D file right now is 9.2 GB's. I think it was less when I was downloading it (now its extracted) I am pretty sure Steam works the same way. 12 gb is probably the extracted size :P (4 Hours ago)
