I agree it isn't as impressive looking as some of the new games, but you have to bear in mind your ability to traverse the whole city from rooftop on down. It sure will be shifting a lot of polygons at a high rate of speed.

Textures on the other hand...

The character Poly count is pretty impressive...you can tell be how smooth they look.

No wonder playable Hobgoblin is PS3 exclusive, no way they could fit him on the DVD with all those lovely textures!

I don't think he is. Which might explain why he is exclusive to the ps3 (though I haven't heard that he is).

He is in both consoles screen shots.. >_<

Only playable Hobgoblin (Harry Osborn in paintball in a mask on a snowboard) is exclusive to the PS3 "Collector's Edition" which is $10 more.

I fully expect him to be released on marketplace a month or so after release though.

The Lizard isn't in Spiderman 3 either and they did a terrible job assuming what he would look like too, terrible

Regardless of graphics, I watched a feature about what they have added to this game recently and it's going to be really impressive in motion
The first two weren't graphic powerhouses either and were fun to play

I was disappointed in Spiderman 3 when he turned to black Spiderman w/o Rhino anywhere in sight.

Horrible game, seriously last-gen port as said before! This is a pathetic excuse for next-gen games, if a gamer seriously buys this, I would say to slap em' as hard as hell until they fell unconscious.

guys. The game is huge. Its silly to expect GOW level graphics from a game this big. And although GTA looks better and could be as big, you arent exactly swinging through the city at high speeds in GTA.........

That's some pretty good gesture in those animations though.

I would honestly say crackdown looks better than this, and you could see practically everywhere in that.
And from the look of pic 3 on the 360 shots, draw distance isn't that spectacular.

Ah well, never really been interested in Spidey games anyway.

Gogo GTA IV? Looks amazing and you know it will be larger than whatever this game is making available. Spidy was fun the first time swinging from things but just like tony hawk I won't be picking up any sequels.

It's weird how much sharper the PS3 shots look.

We might actually see the first instance of a multiplatform game looking better on the PS3.

Which is interesting considering the 360 has loads more TEXTURE MEMORY than the PS3 (ie percentage allocatable by the developer), and they both look like turd.

The only way they can make the PS3 version look "good" is by making the 360 version look criminally HORRIBLE in comparison. So perhaps they can at least use it to sell some PS3 consoles to unwitting children.

PS TMNT on Wii got 2.1/10 from Gamespot. I think thats a new low even for movie licenses.

The game looks good to me after watching a gameplay video of the 360 version on Attack of the Show yesterday.
