Some fresh and new screens for Forza Motorsport 2

In the last pitpass we are offered a few new screenshots of the much awaited Forza Motorsport 2 and except for the slight aliasing it's pretty impressive. No video to enjoy yet but Che claims it's coming on Monday on the press site that got the exclusive. To ease the wait, we are given some info about the upcoming demo (FFB support, some of the 24 available cars...) and a few details about the sound in the game including a real life vs in-game comparative.

the AA is terrible (look at the cars), almost the same like PGR3.

I agree about the AA. It looks like another case of HDR reflections and AA incompatibility.

But apart from that the game looks gorgeous!

4xAA doesn't eliminate jaggies completely, especially if the images have been resized in any way.

Baah, why are everyone so graphic fixedly? I mean... I can't remember I was talking about "8xAA", "HDR reflections" and so on - when I played games a few years ago. Sure, graphics are an important aspect of games, but still... these days everyone even knows every little word for the techs :p

Why not "this game looks great" or "this game looks crappy".. Why complain at "4xAA" and shit? :p

Just awesome. Even if it would look like Forza 1, this game is going to destroy my life xD Like everyone ellses who can appreciate proper racing game.

When that goddamn demo is released? Was it middle of next month or something?

Exellent screens and a good read on the forza site. Seems one of the things that are really getting a major overhaul is the sounds. I hope we will be getting the best sounding race game ever with Forza2. Sounds is one of the things that has always been the achielles heel of racing games - But Forza2 could show how it's meant to be.

Not 'amazing' in my opinion. I think that's way too generous. It looks about average in terms of what we've seen Xbox 360 do.

bleachedsmiles be excellent news if thats the case..limited hdd space nolonger an issue. Crazy overly expensive official HDD no longer an issue. All this is very un microsoft though (2 minutes ago)

bleachedsmiles you can apparently save your dlc, saves ect to anything upto 16gb mem cards. Ofcourse all dlc will be restricted to your gamertag naturally (18 minutes ago)
citizenx From what I've read, the Xbox content on the flash drives will be locked to the console. Applications bypassing it will be out within a week of the update no doubt! (52 minutes ago)
