Degrade. Looks flat. Blurry textures.
And they only way you'll be able to see if it's been downgraded, which I don't think it has, is by looking at the same arena environment.
Thank God we don't live in feudal Japan, where thousands of men would have to clamor around one woman to carry on their family name :P.
Sorry for my eng.

Lighting is something vibrant and dynamic that can change according what you have on screen and in which direction are you looking at (it's not like the sky lights the scene in the same way from every direction, and also camera exposure is automatically adjusted per frame).
Fog also is not just 'fog', it's applied on every single pixel we render and it's computed in a very complex fashion (mie and rayleigh scattering equations), it's not really something you wanna use to 'cover' stuff as it's more expensive to compute that the stuff you want to cover, lol
So please relax, nothing has been taken away!
But it's too far away from release (i.e: We don't know when) to be excited about this game though.

certainly a graphical downgrade judging from those screens. one would be stupid to say otherwise.
Looks good.
I'm not saying it doesn't look nice, but compared to the earler screens it's most certainly not looking 'better' nor 'as good'.
