First trailer of Call of Duty 4

Activision has made this weekend worthwile, showing the first trailer of Call of Duty 4 during this mornings american NFL program. The game will go under the name Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, so by hearing that you're hopefully not expecting to see any Panzerkampfwagen Tiger tanks in the trailer. See it all inside!

The trailer was too fast we could barely see what the game looks like. mixture of CG and ingame for sure but way to quick to see anything. looks good though.

Lol, only the end and beginning look as cg, the rest is not that super awesome that it couldn't be rendered on the 360 or whatever.

Well, I don`t like the setting..Looks to much like a GRAW style game! I would have preferred a really big war instead of those guerillia fights in citys `n stuff..

No doubt (that and Latin America). The world is full of interesting locales that are under-used. Of the total 177,000,000 square miles on the planet ('course 70% is water), games have played in a cumulative area of about 10,000 square miles it seems.

Maybe you need to watch it again.That trailer was all in game graphics.No CG at all.

As much as I like WWII movies, modern warfare games are more playable imo.

The developers should stop releasing games every new year. I bet, after release of this game, the multiplayer is unplayable -.-

BTW, COD4 looks like Battlefield Modern Combat to me.

COD3 was developed by Treyarch using the old COD2 engine to make some fast money while Infinity Ward (the REAL developers who did COD1 and 2) worked on this game the whole time.

the cinematic quality of the trailer is extremely good, great direction!
And yeah, i agree with everyone, glad to see this moving out of the wwii finally and get more GRAW-ish :D

okay i have been thinking about something here, does everybody remember how amazing CoD2 was? i mean all the cinematic effects that wasen't really intentinally put there but they just happened.. I mean so many times i've been replaying the old CoD2 single campaign, and also how insanely cool and good the multiplayer was.. Modern Warfare is going to be so damn awesome.!!
