Activision announces Spiderman: Friend of Foe

Activision just launched the officiel website for a new game based off the Spiderman franchise, called "Spiderman: Friend or Foe". No further information about the platforms concerned or the genre of the game, but the screens we grabbed on the website let us think the game is planned to be released on X360 and PS3. More details in the days to come.

the Green Goblin looks bad... buut the rest looks fantastic.
I hope we get to see a trailer soon :)

Seriously though, I just bought Spider-Man 3, why the hell did they announce another one so soon?

One big problem with enxt-gen Spidey model- He looks way too funny.
Big head, small shoulders, medium arms lol

And GreenGoblin made me laugh, he looks hilarious.

Look at the green goblin in pick 3, it matches the style and detail of spider man, but then the goblin becomes this ...chibi form in the 4th pic....was it supposed to be a joke? Also the glider goes from being pink in the 3rd shot to being purple in the fourth. Maybe this chibi green goblin is supposed to be a weapon the ACTUAL green goblin throws or something? Thats why he looks so bad in the fourth pic?

I think this is more of a comical approach to spiderman than a serious take like the current game.

I also believe these shots aren't from ingame, but a CG cutscene, spiderman looks way too great in the model to be real time i think.

As I was saying over at XY, I'm guessing this might be tied to the 2008 TV cartoon series "Amazing Spider-Man".

Maybe this is the game Spider-Man 3 should've been (a content/effect/High definition upgrade of the Spider-Man 2 game... without the bugs & framerate problems)?

Burglarize Just watched 'The Duel' myself. Pretty good. Although why they chose those horrific filters for the animation I'll never know. Also, the music was straight-up Naruto, even if it is traditional. (1 Hour ago)
