Announced just recently, Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Conviction will of course also get its own gallery, including some nice artworks.

The lighting is stunning..
Really? I think it's kinda flat. Especially in the 3rd pic where the roof is as bright as the floor, doesn't look convincing at all.

I'm no Splinter Cell fan anyway...

Watch the video and try to say it's flat.

Absolutely breath taking.. can't wait for this.

Does any1 know which engine this game uses? In-house?

The pictures kinda look like crap, no depth in some and it's sorta bland. The footage looked better, but it's early so it'll shape up I think.

The footage looked dull if you ask me. It's just looked like the same old Splinter Cell with a bit of the Assassin's Creed crowd thing thrown in. Both Ubisoft games so I wouldn't be at all surprised if they were stealing bits of each others games.

"same old Splinter Cell"

What's with all the non-Splinter Cell fans posting their opinions? Don't they have better things to do?

Also, I am getting sick and tired of websites posting overly-compressed screenshots.

It looks nothing like the other Splinter Cell games. Oh wait...Sam does grab a guy from behind at one point...so I guess you're right...it's exactly the same. [/sarcasm]

Pic 3 is a bit shopped, but they are from the in-game goodness. I noticed in the gamplay trailer that the physics of the human bodies are very realistic. They don't bounce, they fall and stay in that position, they move and look heavy. So nice :)

Uh the last splinter cells looked great. They even looked good on the old xbox and playstation. and since this game isnt all about hiding in the shadows it doesnt matter if it looks like the last splinter cells, all that matters is the gameplay that is different the graphics already look good.

It's actually the Korean War memorial in Washington D.C.:

Was there last summer! It's pretty cool to see the place in a game.
