Just wow, truely amazing graphics and imo better than GoW, and at 60 fps. If it looks like that when it's finished it's a first day buy.

I'm usually not such a graphic whore but that video just stunned me.

It sure looks like the good old CoD in terms of gameplay, only the setting is now different (modern day instead of WWII).. I wonder how it will do versus all the other top FPS games coming out this fall and winter.. So many choices.. And I'm happy it's on the PC again aswell..

I think it looks very good..just not like very much fun! Way too confusing and stuff! I`ll pass this one.

Looks pretty good. Lots going on, plenty of AI chat. cool lasers with the NV but...

smoke plume in the background looks like ass.
Can't see shit with night vision on (it looked like he was shooting at shadows!)
AI looks entirely scripted.

I'll keep my eye on it, but I don't know how fun all this chaos is

Still far from being beaten in my opinion.

gears still looks great, but there wasnt nearly as much chaos going on all around. So considering that COD 4's level of detail is still quite high, there's so much going on around you, and it runs smoothly at 60 fps (confirmed by developer, check IGN), I think that puts it ahead of gears IMO.

Amazing. It just kick ass.

It has better presentation than Bad Company but it is inferior to that game graphically.

I just watched the 60fps HD version and HOLY SH$#$$T this is freaking Killzone2 quality graphics

Viva Cod 4

Looking good, but it's not such a big step up from CoD 3. I can't say I'm impressed cause it only looks as good as I was expecting. Some people say this looks better than Crysis, but then again Crysis has a free environment where CoD 4 just like CoD 2 and 3 will have small and very linear areas.

I don't think it looks better than Crysis in a technical sense.. but it is pretty. I think it looks MUCH better than COD3 though. COD3 is a very small step up from COD2.. and this seems like a much larger jump.

I hate COD3 though. Horrible campaign.

After finishing it on Veteran, i agree! that was one of the hardest son of bitch to finish!
Some level's were even irritatingly difficult!

And it wasn't just difficult, it was retarded difficult. Horrible game design.. horrible teammate AI, and enemies with SMG's that pelt you with EVERY BULLET from a hundred yards. Oh, and the Nazi's don't fire on your teammates very often.. and your teammates can't kill the enemy with their guns, only frags!

Horrible level design too, there are a few instances where you can actually spawn camp the enemy. Spawn camping.. in a single player game. I should never even see the enemy spawn!

Treyarch is no Infinity Ward, that's for sure.

Call of Duty was about historical wars, this one just looks like another typical FPS too bad they've chosen this route I would have been interested to see what they would do next but now this really isn't any different from any other FPS. As the war in Iraq isn't even over this has become fictional propaganda nice graphics though, but I'm not so interested in playing it.

I felt the same way when i saw the first trailer, but this gameplay clip completely changed my mind. It may indeed play like any other FPS, but I think the COD series have a cinematic quality that other games dont really have, and that's why i keep playing them. For me, as long as a game is fun, it doest matter if it doesnt have the most unique gameplay in the world. That's not to say that i dont want games to try and be innovative, but i just dont think you should brush aside the game just cuz it plays like other FPS.
