Alternate History stories are the way to go, hope the gameplay lives up to it.

Thanx Blim.

Reminds me of Crimson Skies, which I loved, so that's a good thing. The graphics are just crap though. Well, it's just announced so i guess they still have a long way to go.

i'd say RTS by the graphics. the game doesnt seem to be detailed enough to be a FPS, and RTS game however, and it looks great. but i hate RTS's so it means very little to me.

Turning point tells the story of an alternate history in which Winston Churchill dies and, because of that, he never lead Britain to win the war allowing for the Nazi's to take over. After that victory, the Nazis go on to attack and overrun the US, and the opening scene in the game slaps you right in the heat of the German's surprise attack on New York.

The crucial point here is that you don't play as a soldier. You're not connected to the military at all. You're just a normal, average citizen and instead of trying to be a war-winning super hero, like in all the other war-sim FPS games, your main objective is simply to survive.

and yes, its a FPS

COD:FH "Fame"? Are you serious Blim...

Whatever, this is the only WW2 FPS that I got interested after BIAHH. I never minded COD3, MOHAA never looked promising to me, and Hour of Victory was noob. Turning Point Fall of Liberty made me interested with twisted WW2 setting, as we are supposed to see unfinished Nazi weapons of real world along with vanilla ones, and considering those screenshots Spark actually achieved that thing. This game looks sooooo interesting despite of Spark's huge mistake on CODFH. I hope this game would allow us to take advantage of many real world post-WW2 weapons...

HUGE amounts of aliasing in the last pic. They need to clear that up.

First and third pics are the most impressive I feel. But those huge blades on the back of the zepplin in pic 4 are just crazy.

But, even though its not WWII this time, the Nazis are our foes in games again!

Ok, that one will be banned in Germany for sure, they also banned the uncut version of The Darknes because of Nazi signs.^^

Looks interesting, tho.

I'm assuming that the lack of graphical finesse is down to the level of destruction that can be caused in the game and the number of objects on screen at once (pic 1 in particular with all those parachutes and running people!)

I'm with you on Crimson Skies, awesome game!

last picture doesnt look so good but the rest of the images look great for whatever type of game this is. I'm assuming an RTS with great graphics, but if its not an RTS then this game looks bad. still, i'm going to play this. unless its an airplane shooter.
