5 Burnout Paradise images

Burnout Paradise is finally back with these five new images from the PS3 version of the game. With a big free roaming city, I can't wait to see that game in action.

the only thing that those games have in common are that you control a car. Gameplay wise they are all very different. And you left out the best one, Project Gotham 4.
Burnout died when number 3 came out.
yeah sure gameplay is different, but its mostly still the same: drive from point X to Y or drive x rounds on track Y and ALWAYS try to be first (get gold) to get all archievements and so on. that means you have to play alot :D Sure on flatout is this carnage mode which reminds me of crazy taxi 3 a bit, but this also gets boring after some rounds IMHO. and i played (own) all of the games i mentioned above(also PG4). i just wanted to state how it gets boring to me, same as WW2 games :p
Maybe racing games arent my favs anymore :/

too many multiplatform titles out there, and ps3 always ends up with the crappy port.

Not bad looking, certainly better than it did anyway.

i think that to judge the game, we have to see gameplay in motion...

Looks pretty good, maybe they can breathe some life into this franchise after all. If they get rid of the shitty EA music tracks I might even buy it.

It's a shame they don't do a pocket PS3, cos the thumbnails look great... ;o)

Seriously, this should still be a cracking game, especially if they include the team crash junction mode from 2!

Well burnout is dead to me right now cuz Ea messing up this classic game, since played all previous burnout games even revenge on 360 pwnz it 10 x, but now its going ala Nfs-free roaming crap, so give us a demo before ill pass judgment over this game cuz not into free roaming all just point and click then get racing.

BTW whats wit the freakin jaggies!! man seems like its own trademark over Ps2 jaggies hurts my eyes, give us 360 screenies!

What's up?
  • Doom_Bringer
Doom_Bringer oh yea that, Dragon Age was preloading at the time (4 Hours ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX Maybe.. it's different for pre-loaded stuff too. (4 Hours ago)
  • Doom_Bringer
Doom_Bringer @GriftGFX: well Dragon age extracted is suppose to be arround 20 gigs but the download was only 8 gigs or 15 gigs...procedure might be different for newer games (5 Hours ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX 45 minutes for this game would have to be like... 3+ megabytes per second. My Comcast can't do that. (5 Hours ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX My FFOW DL is almost 12.9 gigs and like 95% done. (5 Hours ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX Steam appears to download extracted and installed, there's no install process once you finish downloading a game. (5 Hours ago)
  • Doom_Bringer
Doom_Bringer D2D file right now is 9.2 GB's. I think it was less when I was downloading it (now its extracted) I am pretty sure Steam works the same way. 12 gb is probably the extracted size :P (5 Hours ago)
