Burnout Paradise is finally back with these five new images from the PS3 version of the game. With a big free roaming city, I can't wait to see that game in action.
Loakum Ugh….scratch that previous comment. The upcoming Game of Thrones video game is a F’in mobile phone game. Why can’t they came an open world GoT game, like Witcher 3 or God of War? (> 3 Months ago)
Loakum By FAR, the upcoming Game of Thrones King’s Road was the Game of the Show! It plays like God of War Ragnarok! :) (> 3 Months ago)
Loakum @Driftwood Awesome! I’m loving it! It does show a much crisper picture and the frame rate looks good! I was playing Stella Blade and Dragonball Soarkling Blast! :) (> 3 Months ago)

I loved the series in the past, and I think it absolutely peaked already at 2, which is also why I feel there's really not much you can do with the series in that shape besides... I dunno.. more glass and bent cars during crashes? Avoiding growing stale, they're picking the series up and running with it, and while it's discouraging that it's using very familiar buzzwords to describe itself (reminders of NFS), I think the fact that it's Burnout will still very much shine through in its sheer intensity.
I think the fact that the series in the past has been so much about adrenaline poses a lot of questions about how you keep a free roaming game action packed, and it's sort of in believing Criterion might pull that off that I find it interesting. Hopefully, getting into races and stuff will be tons less cumbersome than it traditionally has been in games of this type.
Meanwhile it's my hopes that they'll continue with their "classic" series of Legends and Dominator on less advanced hardware, just to keep the gameplay of 2-4 around.

Hope they'll keep an eye on gameplay and athmosphere, not only on effects and destruction.

Commented on 2007-06-28 14:33:37Seriously, this should still be a cracking game, especially if they include the team crash junction mode from 2!
