EA released these five images from the Xbox 360 version of Mercenaries 2, showing what seems to be the female (main?) character. With a planned release in the end of October, it can get some hard competition at the release.
Hm, the screens are looking a lot better than the last ones, but yeah, the water still looks awful. But when that's the only negative point of the game... ^^
I wonder how it plays. Looking forward to this title!

For a giant, free-roaming open world, where everything its fully destructible I think it looks fantastic
yeah thats wat people still wont get in their heads, if you have a open area with so much gameplay mechanics graphics wont be as good as they would be if you had a linear gameplay. since the developers would have a very hard to getting every single inch of the gameworld looking perfect, and even if they did manage to do that it would probably be very laggy due to the amount of stuff in the world.

even Just Cause 360 with PS2 models looks more nice in twice
thats because Just Cause doesnt have fully destructable enviorments which made it easier to make the enviorment look better. but mercenaries has all of the things you can do in Just Cause, and more. plys you can blow stuff up in this game and cant in that.
i'm getting so sick and tired of people always bitching about graphics.
I feel sorry for the people that base a purchase on how the game looks. you're missing out on some good stuff
Well its truly hi-def ps2 game, just cause was better with all the tech included HDR, so lets see a demo on marketplace bfore then ill buy this 60 bucks Hi-Def Ps2 game.
I think it looks great. The amount of detail, particularly on the guy with the mohawk, is amazing. Especially considering the size and interactivitiy of the environment.
Going by pic 3, draw distance won't be fantastic, but better than the last game.
First one was fun, but in October? I don't know, I might wait a year.
