Hironobu Sakaguchi press conference

I'm just back from Hironobu Sakaguchi's press conference at the Japan Expo near Paris, and as expect there wasn't much new announced there. Blue Dragon will be released as expected at the end of August everywhere. Lost Odyssey is about 80 % done and will be finished in about 3 months, they are now working on the game balance. It will be released at the end of the year in Japan and in the english speaking countries (USA and UK too), but the other territories will have to wait until a few weeks later in Q1 2008. It will be localized in 8 languages and released in 22 countries. I'll have a very short interview with Sakaguchi tomorrow afternoon, where I'll hopefully be able to know a bit more about Lost Odyssey.

It's been confirmed that there will be a LO trailer at E3.

They won't translate it to Dutch anyways, so why don't they release it in the Netherlands too at the same time.

there's a difference between *pessimistic* and *realistic* when has ever a JRPG been released in the UK before the rest of europe because of translation ? I WOUUULD LOVE IT if I am wrong believe you me! :)
