Sony released this brand new trailer of Gran Turismo 5 Prologue during their private games show in Japan called Playstation Premiere. Some new images should follow. Update: Added 15 1080p images.
With the 16 small Pics, I agree with you McErono!! Absolutely. First I didn't find any difference between those screens and those of the trailer. But look first at one of the 16smallpics, then look at one of the first. See the difference?? The screens beyond are sharper, but show more aliasing and textures. While the others have more blur, but however look more proper. Could be because they're different resolutions and are taken from the trailer etc. But it could also be that the first pics ARE CGI. I don't know, and don't wanna say something for shure. But this or another way, the game looks fantastic, and there's no reason why Polyphony should serve us CGI-movies, we allready know how great the grafx will be....
this is a GTHD shot out of a replay.. you all know how old GTHD is and it only gets better with time...

the first pics at the top are screencaptured from the trailer (I think blim or pippo did it themselfs!) - thats why there is blur etc. the small pictures are from sony and seem to be framebuffer pics.

It's great but it's not a huge leap from GTHD, as I always assumed. GTHD was very nice though. And am I the only one who thinks that PGR4 looks better... weather FTW?
BTW there are some people who compare it to FM2. Hilarious. This is the same look as actual GT5 which will be out in second half of 2008 at best and you compare it to game which is already out in May 2007? And gameplay-wise I'd prefer FM if GT5 maintains same gameplay as previous one.
This game looks absolutly amazing! I'm not into all these realistic racing games (Forza/Project Gotham/GT), but I will admit I have always enjoyed the GT games more then the others!
I'm more into racing GTA style or Carmageddon style :D

PGR4 will be a huge dissappointment for me... I hate these weather FX... I mean does it get more arcadey than driving a motorbike in winter around the nordschleife!? BS if you ask me... and I think PGR3 looked more real than PGR4 (its to sterile and the lighting is off...)
I think it's sad that PGR is getting more and more into the arcade direction. there are way enough arcade games out there (NFS, Flatout, Burnout etc.)

I completely agree, its becoming way too arcadey, PGR2 was just right, fairly arcadey handling but realistic physics, PGR3 was very arcadey handling but fairly realistic physics but PGR4 looks to be very arcadey in both areas much more so than need for speed.
