Controls are fine in RE4
If you didn't have to stop to pull out your gun I'm convinced intensity would be lost by quite a bit... if I could just run around shooting I wouldn't be swearing and making weird flailing motions to kill the diseased/zombies.
As for the comment on American Football/Baseball you have to be kidding me.
His shirt is fine, I don't need to see an animated shirt on a character I only see from the waist up. Also considering what people genuinely wear, loose fitting clothing is not too popular right now.

Stronger enemies too. Chris looks pretty buff, but that guy wrestled him to the ground and pwned him. 2009 release breaks my heart though :(.

Damn, Chris looks like he's on steroids. The game looks really good though. With it being sunny and everything, you think it'll take away from the suspense or thrill?

Wow, impressive trailer. I didn't think they'd show this much since the actual E3 trailer was so short. Looks spectacular, it seems that they didn't need to reduce the image quality much, if at all, from the original trailer (which they admitted they were unsure if they'd be able to accomplish in the full game because of the amount of resources it took).

Quick question though: why is the MP4 version 1920x1080 resolution? From the look of it, the video source is simply a 720p image upscaled (and the file size certainly supports that). Is that how the original file was on the PS3 marketplace? Seems like a bit of a waste to have a high-resolution video of a low-resolution source.

The 1080p one is 720p upsacaled, you guys should have the 720p mp4 version that is avaible the quality is much better then the one at XBLM

I'm sorta shocked that people want to circle strafe around zombies.. it's a suspense/horror game! That gameplay mechanic exists to make it more tense.. why change it?

Capcom must do the following things...

One is to let us move-aim-shoot this time around.
And give us a spring feature and everything is cool.

Wel if 2009 is a long way to go, just get Dark Sector in early 2008 for a "preview" taste of how it feels with the whole camera style and stuff for RE5 :P

I can understand your fears of making the game too much of a shooter, and if they dont change it (which they probably wont) ill be fine with it. Im just saying i would like that little bit more freedom while im fighting 15 - 20 maniacs coming at me. I dont think a walking pace strafe will affect the game that much.

This game will be great. The athmosphere is very scary. Wow.
But however, I miss a lot the B-movie touch of the first game ^^
hehehe. Well, but this is great, too. The game evolued.
The only thing making me depressiv is.... the long time we'll have to wait.... 2009....man...

They should keep it the way it is. Why get rid of one of the main things that makes it different from a lot of other things out there.

Not only does it feel more realistic to me, it gives a true feeling that every shot counts. Also at 1:02 1:03 into the video is that displacement mapping on the ground? Or something else? Those leaves look pretty damn good too.

Looks awesome, but looks a bit too much like RE4, I loved Re4 but it'd be nice if it was a bit different. Still can't wait to see more.

I'm probably one of the few who hasn't played RE4(played parts 2&3), so I never know quite what to think about it. Some don't like the control scheme, others call it one of the greatest games of all time.
So I can only guess as to what RE5'll be like in terms of gameplay, but the way it looks blows my mind. Just awesome, awesome graphics. Next-gen personified.
