Here are the five first minutes of the Bioshock demo, which shows your first steps in Rapture, the underwater city. As the level is quite long, I thought that it would be better to stick with a short glimpse, but if you want me to record the all thing, don't hesitate to ask.
Update: 46 images of the demo added.
Update 2: Video part 2 added !

You could rush like a DM Rambo freak on crack, or play like it is a Splinter Cell stealth game, or anything in between with all the different weapons, powers, and hacking you can use.. Also they said there were multiple endings depending on how you played the game..
So yeah, pretty good value for money I think, even for a SP-only game..
A few brilliant moments I had in the demo.. 1st one was when I shot the guy downstairs where you get the gun for the 1st time who was knocking on a closed door, and blew his mask off.. He was looking up at me like 'wtf, who shot me?'.. Then I shot him again and killed him.. 2nd cool moment was when I set 2 enemies on fire, then they ran towards and dove into a pool of water to extinguish themself, and then I zapped the water with electricity to kill them.. Also cool was hacking into one of those flying security bots, which them starts following you to protect you..

Commented on 2007-08-14 01:32:18Not a single slowdown.. it's just stupidly solid in the framerate.
Eat that Silicon Knights.

Commented on 2007-08-14 01:59:07From that you might think that its not exactly UE3 in the same way as Gears, but as long as the core engine (esp renderer) is from UE3 then it makes little difference.
Didnt really notice much effects amiss, aside from parallax mapping (brick walls, bullet holes etc)?
