Bungie releases about sixty (!) screenshots of Halo 3's multiplayer mode, as well as a dozen of artworks. You'll find ingame screenshots, menu captures, a new map and alot more.

Eh, nothing even remotely impressive environment or models. But its MP and to stay true you cant change a whole lot and put things out of whack.

sorry, replace the first "old" image i posted with the one bottom right (golden/green armour), the one they claimed to be running in engine, the one that actually looked damn fine with the "concrete" bump map. instead of the shite it is now. he looks like he's wearing a rubber suit. im not some hater. im buying the legendary edition ffs, but im not going to be a blind fanboy of halo, the graphics and lack of gamplay evolution just does not warrent that.

Your opinion. Bungie stated that it was deliberately changed, and personally, I like new 'plastic' one over that concrete one. Mjolnir never looked like concrete, but rather plastic. And I saw that pretty much people agreed on that...

Return to the screenshots itself. I see that some screenshots are older than others. If you've been tracking down informations on Halo 3, you may found it using high resolution textures overall. Truth is, some are not in these screenshots.

What sorta gameplay evolution were you looking for Korndog?

Martial arts? It's a first person shooter.

If you are looking for evolution they've delivered that. They just aren't doing anything that would be seen as revolutionary. They are evolving everything from their previous games to a new level and even added new vehilces, equipment and weapons plus much larger environments. So when you say lack of gameplay evolution what do you want exactly?

Overall I agree with you, but I'm afraid that when Halo 3 is out, some people won't realize what you're saying and could claim Halo 2.5 crap... Losing what made Halo cool with just having new graphic is what should be called +0.5, not a total revamp on every features.

BTW some shots on 'Narrow' map... OMG.

tssk the game looks nowt like crap, this isnt hour of victory hehe.

Multi has never looked all that good anyway, they need to show off more sp really thats the big draw for me, and with co-op online many hours will be spent on it :D

I think it looks great! Other games might have the upper hand visually, but I don't see how the game could "looks nowt like crap."

The dirt on the armor looks like shit, but the plastic green armor is starting to grow on me.

I personally like the look of the concrete-texture armour as it just seems more detailed with the texture, but if I had to imagine what a futuristic, militaristic suit of armour would look like in terms of the material it's made of, I'd guess it'd be something like what they've chosen.
